Changes have been made to some of the game servers. Specifically Team Fortress 2.

Please head over to http://www.evgagaming.com/servers.aspx to review them.

We had some suggestions to make vanilla servers for Team Fortress 2 so two have been changed to 24/7 Control Point and Capture the Flag.

Killing Floor 2 connect links were also fixed.

MvM is always full because of Casual (formerly QuickPlay) and Matchmaking options. Hopefully it does turn up more since there can be more than 6 players.

I wish quickplay worked that well for normal servers, just too many TF2 servers out there and some communities use fake clients to make as server look like it has more players.

There was a couple of big updates for TF2 recently that brought up some issues. Do you have any problems connecting? If so, can you let me know the server and any screen shots showing any errors.

All of them? Try typing in console: open ip:port

Replace IP and Port of course.

Ever since the server provider was changed to gameservers.com server performance has been horrid. Servers struggling to even process the game, nothing to do with latency.

All the changes to US BF4 servers has hurt the traffic on them. The NJ ran fine last night, but only 12-14 players were on it. I think NFOservers.com has better performance and support. The top Rust community official servers rent a full machine from NFO.

I think it's the 40hz setting. I'm on the CHI server now and it's on 30HZ and running just fine. But yeah, the poor performance recently hasn't helped.

I'm on the CHI server now and even at 30Hz it's terrible.  The server performance icon is lit up red and i'm rubber-banding like crazy.  The vehicle icons on the minimaps are just spinning around like randomly too LOL.

I've noticed once the server hits about 50 players the server warnings start going yellow and at about 56 or more it's red constantly.

Will just have to avoid the Chicago BF4 server for this event, the NJ BF4 (40hZ) server runs better for me.

    Bingo!

Every 64-player BF4 server I've run, which includes Gameservers and NFO, always start to lag or rubberband once the player population goes over fifty players.

This issue has been going on since BF4 came out. Sadly, there is absolutely NOTHING any of the GSPs can do. I've been through it all with GS and NFO customer service: relocate the server to another data center, change the server to one "specifically configured by DICE" for large servers (BS), restart sever, clean wipe the server, rinse and repeat!

    BAH!!!

P.S. there is a silver lining: the lag occurs above fifty players usually around peak gaming hours in the U.S. If the EVGA servers go over fifty players during non-peak gaming hours, the lag is not going to be so bad.

If every 64man BF4 server had that kind of lag/rubber banding, we would see tons of complaints on battlefield forums.  When EVGA had a full managed machine from NFO (chicago location), it never had rubber banding like the BF4 Chicago server from Gameserver is doing.

EVGA 64man BF4 server in NJ from Gameservers doesn't have the rubber banding issue when above 40+ players, its running 40hz too.

Could we possibly have more servers in differnt locations e.g Australia? 2016/07/19 02:48:38 (permalink)
Me and many other are getting the same problem. As we join US, EU or Brazilian servers, we sometimes get kicked due to high ping (This is in Battlefield 4). I get around 220 at best, can you please think about setting up more servers. This can really help everyone and especially those who live far from server locations like Oceania
