Exactly. Instead we can just post a thread asking who has game codes they don't like then list them and we can simply say well hey you have this batman code you don't want, can I have it? Sure, that's a donation.

Guy #2, Hey, I have a MGS Code I have that I don't want, would you like it?

Then it's all about donation instead of trading :)

It doesn't matter by which way it is done, the thread will be deleted. Repeat offenders will get a warning. ETC. Just giving you a heads up on this subject. Thanks.

So wait, even if I really wanted to give somebody my code because I never plan on using it, I would get in trouble? That's honestly quite stupid, well not even quite, it's stupid.

I know you don't make the rules but I'm just saying.

The rules are here for a reason. For example, if Nvidia, or EA has a promo with a game for instance. They might say you can't sell the code, trade the code, etc. If Evga let's people in their forums break those rules (Terms of agreement), then Evga could be in trouble. Rules are here to protect Evga and our forums members from running into these types of problems.

the forums have to stick to nVidia's rules for handling the promo codes.
    there is no way around.

Where in the rules does it say the code can not be given away for free though? I mean sell or trade okay, but I don't think they have anything against giving the code away for free. I could be wrong, but as you wish.

The first post is very specific: http://forums.evga.com/Game-Codes-m2346097.aspx  Those are the rules on this, and the Mods have to enforce those rules. I don't think there should be any more doubts in anyone's minds regarding the rules now.        =)
