GTX680 max res 1080p

Help!! Just put a GTX680 in my 2009 Mac Pro. Hooked up to an Eizo CG277 via HDMI and latest Nvidia drivers and the max res the control panel will let me have is 1080P.........Am I missing something or is the card faulty?

    OK..works fine via DVI. I thought it would be at full res for the screen via HDMI as well. Panic over.
