    The easiest answer is when NVIDIA decides to give EVGA the chips they need.  I wish I knew how NVIDIA does their inside, but I dont so I cant tell you when.  Id imagine it was a future bought months ago by EVGA and they cant change it now.  That or maybe NVIDIA just cant make enough, which I doubt as I remember the discussion of how NVIDIA had millions of the 980ti chips that were a huge mystery as to what they were and why they were being produced.  Maybe NVIDIA made a few million back in February and slowed down when they thought they had enough, but now they don't want to speed up because by the time they do the rush will be over and it would be a waste.  Again, its a mystery as to how NVIDIA does there production/distribution.  Just hopefully everyone learned a lesson and can prevent it from happening time and time again.

    I honestly don't know what the hold up is with NVIDIA's production or distribution as well. They should of known these chips would sell well.

    On the other side of that, they could have made too many, and lost money. Have to play it safe if companies want to survive these days.
