I've managed to get hold of 2 ACX 2.0+ coolers for my reference cooled 980Ti's, they didn't come with any screws though. I've tried to find installation instructions for the Titan X versions as what I can make of it they are essentially the same but couldn't fin them online. Does anyone know if the reference cooler screws will fit and if I'll be missing any screws required for the ACX 2.0+ install and what they'll be?

The Coolers didn't come with back plates but I've got the matching backplates separately with screws so its just the cooler screws I'm short of.

The reference screws are typically a very coarse thread, while the ACX is very fine thread.

You may be able to contact EVGA and buy a set, but it is going to be a little expensive because of shipping.

I would make every effort to get the right screws from EVGA so you don't mess up the threads. A screw that is too long will bottom out and either break or not apply the correct pressure to the thermal pads.

Thanks for your help, I didn't manage to find much information online about it. It doesn't seem to be a very common conversion.

I've contacted EVGA to see if can get the correct screws from them.

If they can't scrounge up a set from their RMA department they would at the very least be able to tell you what size and thread pitch screws you would need to get. EVGA Support staff are very helpful and are rated #1 in the business for a reason. If there is anything thing they can do to help you they will do it. Sometimes they are so nice it's down right spooky if you know what I mean. It must be something in the water out there in California.

Does anyone know the best way to contact EVGA? I emailed their Europe support person and SupportEU but haven't had a reply?

I know the UK voted leave, but EVGA Europe we're still cool right?

I don't know the number for EU support but the best thing to do is to call them on the phone where you have them cornered and they can't get away. LOL
If you don't like the answer you can always call back and hope you get someone else more willing to help. I never had a bad experience with the support staff in California. They are a great bunch of guys to deal with.
