Thoughts on specs, and if and when the 980 Ti would be released? I'm not sure which sites to believe and I'm wondering if stepping up would be feasible...

    Wait for nvidia to make a statement, it will be most recent and accurate :-). Don't worry, the next series is where I may upgrade. This set isn't what I was fully hoping for, although it is still impressive.

    It was 6 months between the 780 and 780 Ti releases. Just curious what makes everyone seem to think the 980 Ti is so imminent.

    That's what I mean. I know NVidia has something lined up and ready to go, but he 980s are selling like hot cakes. Why would they release the next batch when this one is still selling at record levels? MAYBE a new Titan since the old ones have been surpassed...
