GTX 980 Ti Hydro Copper issue?

Hello, should I be able to adjust the memory clock offset in Precision X ver. 4.2.1 on my 980 Ti hydro copper?  I am able to move the slider but when I click apply it resets back to zero, the same thing happens on MSI afterburner?  I have tried overclocking 100mhz while folding and within 2-3 minutes I get "the display driver has stopped responding" card never gets above 48 degrees c, newest driver.

    Well I guess I should have done a bit of homework before posting, uninstalled everything including the old version of precision.  Now running precision x 16 and am now able to change the memory clocks.
