On my two new Hybrid cards, the ASIC qualities are 73.3 and 74.4%. Both cards pass Valley in SLI at 1493 MHz. The stock boost frequency is at 1354 MHz. Depending on ambient temperature, I have seen 45-51C under load. These are very nice cards overall. I am tossing around the idea of a 4320x2560 144 Hz display setup down the road.

Good pickups. I'm happy to be over 70% ASIC as well. I don't OC my cards though.

My RMA replacement is also 74.4. Haven't had any issues so far- pretty happy with it!

So I lowered the OC to +130 while adding 13mV, which keeps the card at 1481MHz. Seems to have stabilized, no more errors in 2 hours of gameplay. We'll see if it holds up. Even with all this, it's still the most stable card I've ever had, I'm happy to say.

Hello All
Just received my 980ti hybrid and first newbie question post!
How and where I'm supposed to mount the stock radiator/fan? Is there an explanatory image?

This is my rig configuration:
Back case a 140mm fan exhaust
Top case corsair h100i with 2 120 fan exhaust
Front case 3 120m fan intake

I removed the central of the 3 front fan and mounted the radiator to the case.
Which side should be mounted on case? the rad or the fan?
I read the hoses of the radiator should stay bottom, is it right?

I ask because i could have done wrong.
Idle gpu say 33°C and after few heavy gameload minutes gpu say more than 60°C and I feel the case really hot near the rad.

Thank you.

Front mounted options should have the rad fixed to the case, the fan is an intake and will suck cool air through the rad.  Make sure you mount it in the orientation that has the tubes on the bottom to avoid circulating bubbles through the system.

60degrees on load is pretty impressive and about what I'd expect in summer with my case the way it is (I have a Corsair 750D which has restricted front airflow - High Airflow Kit has been ordered).

One question I have - does anyone know the exact fan specs that are used on these?  I presume it's some CM or Asatek high static pressure fan, but I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading.

I recommend rear or top exhaust. I personally wouldn't want hot air to be blown into my case. If it's vertical, do make sure to mount with tubes on the bottom.

The only reason I would potentially advise against reversing the fan and using it as an exhaust is that, at least in my case, I didn't want the already warm air inside my machine to then be pushed through a hot radiator.

Having my Hybrid front mounted results in 32degrees idle and 55degrees on 100% load (add a few degrees if I attach the face plate to the front of my case).  I also have an additional front 120mm intake and a 140 intake on the bottom of the case which definitely helps my overall temps, so if you also have other fans and some sensible cable management you should be ok.

Loving my hybrid so far 76.8% asic at 1500Mhz core and 1400Mhz memory with no voltage bump max 51c but avg 45c on a push pull corsair SP 120's.
I am pushing an LG 34" Curved Ultrawide 3440 x 1440 and 60fps all day long except Ark and Witcher 3 without some settings lowered.
I made small bumps with valley and stopped as I was happy with that and have not tried to push it further and no issues at all.
Might pick up a second one in the future.

^squashed the quote pyramid a bit :)

Went back and revisited my temps as I thought they were quite high from the information you provided, and upon running more tests over the weekend I'm showing a 31-32 degree idle temp and 51degree maximum load temp :)

The front panel to my Corsair 750D restricts the airflow significantly when it is attached.  Removing this drops the temps from 58 to 51 on load.  Once my High Airflow Kit arrives for my case I will make some further tests :)

Yea, well as you have seem to figured out, lack of incoming airflow can affect temps just as lack of exhausting the air already inside. This is why I pay close attention to the cases I'm interested in and read the reviews.

Hey guys can I change stock fans? and what u think about Noctua NF-F12 IPPC 3000 they are 7,63mm H2O static pressure  and one of them on pull in push/pull system ... or change stock on Noctua on push too?

If you want to spend $20+ changing fans for maybe 1 degree tops then sure. Do you need to? No.

Would I? No.

I simply left the EVGA fan on as the push and then I put a bGears blaster as the pull. I idle at 25c.

I do the same. You can spend the money if you want and if you're going for a specific look, but you'll only get 1-2 degrees better. Depends if you think it's worth it.

hi guys,

i recieved my EKWB Furious Vardar 3000 RPM fan and i'm going for the push-pull confing on my hybrid .
is there any difference on which fan is for push or pull on the rad ?
i have my rad mounted on the top of the case and hot air is directed out from the case, card gets about  40-45 *C on about 1300+ MHz but i haven't touched OC setting yet.

@JerkMan : any chance of seeing some updates about those fans that you ordered ?
i'm quite interesting about those b-fans

Absolutely man, what do you want to know. I can tell you I've got them connected to a fan controller and I turn them all the way up when I game. It's cut 2-5 degrees off the top temps and they're not that loud at all. I definitely recommend them. In fact, I got a total of 5 and replaced some case fans with them.

Me and Jerk are running the same fans, however I've used bGears blaster fans for 3+ years now. They're not loud.

This is the way I do it. I like a high static pressure fan as my push, and for exhaust I like to be above 20cfm higher than the push. So if the push fan has a nice static pressure rating and say it cfm is rated at 70-80. I like my pull fan to be about 100cfm which is about what the bGears Blaster is.

first of all i was very surprised when i unboxed the EK fan , the weight of the fan itself wow'ed me for some reason, maybe because i haven't used fans of this quality.
never the less , i mounted it as a push and remounted the stock fan as pull ,since i had no space inside of my HAF 922 one fan is outside of the case lol

Has anyone in push/pull used a fan cable Y splitter to control both fans on one card? Thoughts on this?

i'm using a Y 4-pin splitter for my fans in push-pull with PWM function but i don't know any other program avaliable other then SpeedFan , i'm still trying to create a profile for the fans.
for some reason i can't get the profile to work and the fans are at full rpm since the EK one is loud but pushing a lot of air.

your idea is good , to sync 2+ fans for improved cooling is going to rock but since software selection is limited you'll have some clicking and testing to do.
