Hello!

One of my Maingames is still cs:go and now i have the problem that the 980 ti isn´t challenged from this game, so i only have 120-400 frames per second. The card runs on 20 percent while cs:go. Is their an opportunity to get the card usage higher?

Newer Games, where the card get challenged running perfect!

System : I7 4790k
MB : MSI z97 gaming 5
Ram : 16 GB Gskill / 1866
Win 10 64 bit

Energyoptions...tried....didnt help
power management mode .... maximum
every graphicoptions High / on ... without vsync
format c: / delete/verify game cache

Nothing worked / helped

Anyone got some ideas?

Best regards

Michael

I play CSGO on 1440p, every set to maximum settings, and even with SLI, and everything runs aroung 500 fps with drops to 300.

What resolution are you playing at?

    lol

You need a more challenging game or a more challenging resolution.

Why did you buy a 980Ti if your primary game is CS:GO and your monitor is 1080p? Talk about way overkill.

My thoughts exactly. The 980ti could run csgo while sleeping. lmao.

You don't want high usage on a GPU. you want it to be very low. It's one concept that a lot of people don't understand, and think they bought a bad card. That's one of the misconceptions with SLI also.
300fps lololol. Use EVGA precision and have it set a FPS lock.

I was in hospital, during this time they changed the cs:go video.txt directory to a complete different folder, so i can change many graphicsettings, if i save them in the wrong directory, it couldnt work. And no one of my friends knew that, that i found it out was coincidence

I was wondering there was no "video.txt" in the old directory, so i created one and that didnt work....

120-400 fps sounds like a good problem to have. Using a higher resolution will help challenge the card more. Running 4k will challenge the card pretty good, it will also lower your fps.

What about using Precision X and setting an FPS limiter on the graphics card?
