GTX 980 SC :: Wont come out of Monitor-off mode

I seem to have solved my BSOD issue.  Which is good.  *Fingers crossed*.  Please review http://forums.evga.com/GTX-980-SC-Memory_Management-1a-403-BSOD-m2377205.aspx for a bit of "lite reading"

Anyway, now it decided it would be a good idea to not come out of monitor-shutoff mode on my left monitor and every now and then my center channel will appear as if it has its blue values lowered so as to come in with a reddish hue.  This is after a 14D uptime mind you.  My only power profile is to shutoff the monitors, not the system.

So, I tried system restore.  and that solved the issue ONCE.  Then it decided it would do it again.  System restore was then redone and it wouldnt even turn on or recognize the left and right monitors and the center was stuck on the default 600x480 resolution AND the NVidia control panel wouldnt respond then I got a lovely c++ redist crash and the identification numbers on the screen was stuck there.  Basically I had a big "1" taking up half my early 90s style CRT resolution.   No other restore points I chose worked and even reinstalling the driver yielded fecal results.  

This is fun!   Looks like I gotta reinstall WIN once again tonight unless someone else has some better ideas.

    windows 10 ?..or win 7  ??  .. which nvidia driver version ? ... what exact monitors  ?
