If there is a 980 Ti to counter the AMD 380x or 390x or whatever, wouldn't they have made the Kingpin the 980 ti? That's the only thing that has me scratching my head. Unless those are a good ways off and this is a filler.

there won't be a 980 ti, the next card will be a titan x or 2 and the romors says it won't be cheap :/ around 1000$

I wait, long-time-now, for next dual card-single slot solution from NVidia. If I die before it is released I will eternally regret, somewhat, not buying the 690 but will dwell on the fond memories of my 590 classified. I am sorry but doing SLI is not in my blood. The Titans just did not cut it. Other older and newest NVidia releases are not convincing to me. I wait. I have followed this and almost all similar forums, here and elsewhere, the experiences of owners and users of the cards that have been released since my 590 classified, and my take on all of it, and there is a vast amount of information to read and digest, is that there is not yet a card out there to replace, purely and simply, my 590 classified (excepting the 690 with its improvements over and above the 590--hence my regret for not getting this card).

Shirts are usually in some special edition GPU. Of all the EVGA GPU I have, only my GTX 690 Signature had one.

The EVGA GTX 980 K|ngp|n has all the colors for my upcoming X99 water build, gunmetal gray, clear, nickel, black, and white LEDs, so perfect. CaseLabs S8S Limited Edition (they only made 30) just arrived for the build, It's tri-tone, has a gunmetal and white interior with four black exterior panels. Also got the gunmetal exterior panels to update the chassis at any time, it's beautiful inside, thank you CaseLabs.

That case is my dream, because waterblocks are visible then, only full black version. Somehow when I look Caselabs case I feel sorry to pay something else... than I'm satisfied with my 650D, I love him but something similar... no chance... This will stay with me until Caselabs became easy for us in Europe as in USA. Yes I would pay 360e for him... but shipping from USA is too much.

And I'm fall in love for K|NGP|N Edition 980. Believe me it's better to wait little more until they finish testing cards. It's not shame if very small number of good chips are available, it's shame when someone is collateral damage because buy that for premium price.

Got a call from James to reconfirm my order...so hopefully I should see it next week The power delivery of this card is really serious 8+8+6+ not to many Pcb's Graphic wise with that setup..should be beast of a card.
