Anyone have any thoughts on if the Titan X will be eligible for the Step-Up program? I bought my 980 FTW about 6 weeks ago and would love to move up to the Titan X....

Thanks for starting the thread @digitalrelic, I have the exact same question.
I just snagged 2 980 classy's and I would like to know if these are going to be step-up eligible for Titan X's (or 980ti).
The 980 standard variants got outdated rather fast (yes, yes... its top-tier graphics cards). =/

    Silverstone Fortress 2 / Seasonic X 1050w PSU
    Kingston SSDs 240GB x2 [Raid 0] / WD 3TB x2 [Raid 1]

Titan's are not available for Step-Up. The best thing would be to sell your cards and purchase them out of pocket.

Response from support (I have the gtx 980 FTW edition with ACX 2.0 cooling):

    Your Question:

Wondering if this will be elgible for the step up program to the new Titan that was released a few days ago. I've checked the 'step-up' site, but it hasn't been updated yet. Thanks!

    Your Answer:

    Hello,

While I can not offer a definitive answer on if the Titan X will ever be added to this list, it's important to note that no Titan card to date has ever been on it.

The Step Up program has been (thus far) reserved exclusively for the standard GeForce cards rather than Titans.

If you have any additional questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask.

    Regards,

Just because the titan x came out doesn't make the 980 ''outdated''.  2x980's in SLI beats the titan X so all you're losing out on is VRAM which 4GB is still plenty.

Your 90 day step-up period would probably be over by the time the 980 Ti is released (if there is going to be one).

if you're that concerned about it just sell them at a loss (probably) if you can't return for a refund and move on.
