Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and updating my GTX 780 to a 970.

Will I be able to step up to any 1070 or 1080 gpu? (well, I'm only interested in the FE, so...)

Thanks!

you have to be within the 90day limit and the gtx1080 FE are currently backordered so you will be put into a queue

Gaming Rig: Intel i7 2600k + Corsair H70 (2x Scythe GentleTyphoon AP15); EVGA P67 SLI motherboard; 8gb DDR3 1866 Mushkin Redline, Corsair AX850 PSU; Nvidia EVGA GTX570 Superclocked; 60GB OCZ Agility III SSD + 500gb Western Digital (Storage), Corsair OBSIDIAN 650d.

That's fine, since at current prices for the 970 it'll be around € 330 (give or take) minus VAT, which will be around € 250 for the step-up.

So even if I have to wait 1 or 2 months at least I'll have that time to use the GPU properly. I think I'll go for the 1070, but maybe it'll be an even bigger queue...

Thanks for the reply!
