I'm having a problem where, randomly, my main screen will go black for several seconds then come back. I get no error messages, and there is nothing in the Windows Event Viewer.

Things I have tried:
  • Updating drivers (on the latest)
  • Cleanly installing drivers
  • Updating BIOS (I have an ASUS Sabertooth X58)
  • Disabling SLI
  • Switching PhysX processing to CPU
  • Underclocking
  • Uninstalling EVGA PrecisionX 16
  • Boosting fan speed
  • Updating video card firmware to 1.1
Nothing seems to help. I was running two 670s before this with no issues so I am pretty sure that my PSU is up to the task. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I just RMA the cards?

Also had the EXACT same problem as you. Sometimes it would flicker and show like lines or graphical glitches too if it didnt go black. Literally tried everything humanly possible. Nothing fixed it. I switched back to my old GTX 460 and its been fine for 2 weeks now since returning the card. I would return your card and get something else.
