So I recently purchased a GTX 970 and since installing it have been having some computer problems. I can be in the middle of a game and my whole computer will just freeze. Other times I can simply just be browsing the web and it will do the same thing. Often when my computer enters sleep mode it won't wake back up. None of this was happening before I installed the video card. Anyone know of any possible reasons?

Download Display Driver Uninstaller DDU - http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Display Driver Uninstaller is a driver removal utility that can help you completely uninstall NVIDIA drivers and packages from your system, without leaving leftovers behind (including registry keys, folders and files, driver store).

Once your done, reinstall the latest driver and see if this solves your problem.

Sorry decepti0n, won't let me reply to pm's since I am new.
I previously had a GTX 660 Ti edition installed.

It would be really helpful to have more details on your system. Power Supply model/output, motherboard, OS, driver version etc etc... the more the better.

I will have to look up PS, pretty sure it was at least a 750 watt at least though.

There's a BIOS Update to A11 and chipset driver updates you should take a look at:
