Hello,
I have received my GPU about a month ago and it's working just fine. I have noticed though that the 0 RPM fan mode hasn't been implemented straight out of the box for the 970's ACX 2.0 coolers and I am aware of the BIOS update available to address this issue. However, I read on some thread that it can break the card if something goes wrong during the BIOS flashing; is this true? And what are the other risks if there are and how can you avoid them?
Thank you for answering quickly as I want my silent PC :D

Be different and stay awesome!

Yes, you could brick the card if something goes wrong during the flashing process.

Well I would say if something happens you may still boot with your secondary card or an iGPU and try to re-flash it again.

If the card won't power on after flashing you can't reflash it.
