    Some guys ask too, probably for 2 weeks.
    No reason to Europe wait longer.
    I'm not sure is it available in USA or soon.
    FTW+ version have backplate installed.

    I asked the same question  about availability in europe and i got the answer:
    "Hi,

    Unfortunately, we do not have any information on when product will be available, but I would expect them to be available soon.

    If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us again.

    Regards,

    Will they come up for step up at the same time as they are listed on the EU online store or, as you refer, when they available in "chanel" (I wasn't aware that the the cosmetics brand was also selling computer hardware )

    I would step up instantly if someone could confirm the PCB difference questions? Im planning to watercool my card and I have to be 100% sure that there will be a compatible block for FTW+ before I step up. Also looks like Europeans are paying the bill for this SC, SCC, FTW FTW+ mess. Price is 35€ higher than FTW. In the US store the price difference is 10$.

    In Europe, labour, warehousing, insurance, transportation, and taxes are all much more expensive than the USA.

    That would be plausible explanation if the FTW costs 389€ here in Europe but it doesnt. Anyway, Im paying what they asks no matter what. The main point of my post was the waterblock thing. If someone could confirm that there is coming waterblock for FTW+ or will the FTW compatible block fit also in FTW+ card?

    i still hope the changes are so  minimal on the PCB that the normal FTW cooler will fit. If this wouldnt be the case i may go with the Watercool Core or let a custom one made for the FTW+.

    You can always ask EK if they are going to make a waterblock:

    You can also ask forum member nateman_doo if he might make one for the forum members

    Even if that was true, it does not explain why FTW+ is 34€ more expensive than FTW while it the US the difference is $10. I'm sorry EVGA but I'm disappointed by this.

    This is not EVGA you will see this everywhere.
    FTW+:389USD -> 334EUR + 19% TAX (in Germany) > 397,46 (NO CUSTOM)
    FTW:379USD -> 325EUR + 19% TAX > 386,76EUR - So we got our FTW ~20EUR cheaper than the US? Now we have to pay ;)

    I can see your train of thought but I'm still disappointed (not necessarily of EVGA).  Having an older 970 SSC I'm going to step-up to the new SSC and maybe buy the backplate when it becomes available.

    Let me see, I paid 369€ for my ftw, the ftw+ is listed as 399.9€, that's a 30.9€ difference. Adding to that 12€ shipping plus 14.6€ to return the ftw, that's a grand total of 57.5€. That's a whole lot of money to have a card fixed.

    On US shop
    FTW = 379.99 USD
    FTW+ = 389.99 USD
    So a step of  10 USD

    On EU Shop
    FTW = 365.90  Euro
    FTW+ = 399.90 Euro
    So a step of 35 euros !!!!!

    Excuse me but  did i miss something ???
    Even if the VAT  make  price in usd  are "equal" in euro on europe  market  " 1 usd = 1 euro"
    explain me why the step is just  3 times bigger than US ???
    just for information we easily find GTX 980 at 450 euro on french market ....

    i  need explanation

    Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.
    My Step-Up period expired today so I started a Step-Up from my FTW to the new SSC yesterday.
    So with the FTW+ available to costumers in Europe, does anybody know if it is possible to switch the model I'm stepping up to since i can't start a new Step-Up?

    Sorry if my english sounds a little bit broken, it is not my native language

    Darwolia, no matter what don't cancel your step-up. you should contact EU support, they should be able to help you.

    Sadly its not a card "fixed"  according to EVGA it is a "new" card the original 970 FTW is still for sale
