Hello everybody, I think I am out of possible solutions with this issue. I have a R9 280x before and had artifact problems(it was worse artifacts) with it, later RMA'd it to have a GTX 970, but this time these artifacts are happening. I checked RAM with memtest86+ no errors, also I deleted the leftovers of r9 with using driver sweeper. Here is the video(it didn't allow me to post links, so you can google this to watch the video from youtube): watch?v=K23q1s02r5c I think having same issue with two graphics card in a row obviously has a low probability. So can it be a problem with PSU such that a problem in PSU is damaging my card? Can changing the PSU solve my problem, or should i just RMA the card, or should I change the PSU and RMA the card? System Specs are following;i5-4670k CPUMSI Z87-G45 mobo, Corsair 2x4 GB RAMSCooler Master GX 750W PSUSamsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB, Windows installed onEVGA GTX 970 Graphics cardThank you for reading

Hello, First of all, thanks for the answer I really appreciate that since for a long time I cannot find how to solve this . I added the screenshot and if I get that correct, it says 12.232 Volts which is greater than .05 so there is a sign for PSU failure. Is my card damaged or will replacing PSU solve the problem ? Thanks again

The value of 12.232 should not fluctuate more than .05.

Thanks for the answer. So how can I check it ? When I open HW Monitor 12.232 is stable and not fluctuating. In this case, can we say that there is a high possibility of being defective gpu ?

Hello, I would like to make a little update to the problem. I sent the card back to service for RMA but they rejected claiming that they have tested it for a long time and it was working with no problem. Afterwards I have changed the PSU and bought EVGA Supernova G2, however the problem persists now. What would you suggest me to do now ?

Use msi afterburner to downclock the core & memory clocks then retest your game. Set the core to -189 & memory to -105. Leave afterburner open while you test your game.

Hello, After changing the settings as suggested, the artifacts decreased however the issue still persists and the temperatures are on 74C while playing game. Thanks

Do you notice the issue in any other games/benchmarks?

Sounds like you got another bad card. What gpu drivers have you tried so far?

After formatting Windows first I installed using CD ( for the first time) after it failed I tried again using latest drivers. I just don't beleive that this is bad luck anymore I think this is a curse or a signal of universe, whatever I do I end up having artifacts its like the cube movie

A little update on the issue, I make the artifacts go away, however to achieve this I downclocked the core clock all the way back 350Mhz, and didn't changed memory clock because changing memory clock has no effect as far as I observed. Also this speed is binding, any speed higher than this causes artifacts. So what now, at the end of the story am I the one who paid a crappy slow card a laptop price ?
