I figure this is kind of a long shot, but maybe an employee might see this and be able to help me out.
After installing my new 1070 (yay!) I decided I'd use my GTX 970 SSC as a physx card. I noticed I never applied the BIOS update that included silent / 0RPM fan functionality. The post on the forum that originally had this link () has been edited to remove the link, stating that since new cards have had the applied firmware for 8+ months it's no longer needed.
Any chance this still exists in some form somewhere, or am I just out of luck?
