Hello folks,
I'm having problems with my gpu after installing the new drivers 357.63
The problem is my gpu temp is like below 35 degrees and the fans are spinning crazy and on top of that when I check precisionx. The fan speed is at 0%. Please help me. What is the problem?

There have been reports of some issues with the last two driver sets. You might want to go back to an older version after using DDU in safe mode to uninstall the current drivers. Step 2 in this guide: http://forums.evga.com/Basic-troubleshooting-steps-Windows-clean-boot-clean-driver-install-debug-mode-etc-m2451023.aspx

If that doesn't fix it, let us know here and someone should chime in to help out further.

@arestavo thanks for the reply. Actually I downloaded a driver on oct 21 just to comply with BF1 requirements it was defective so I uninstalled it today and downloaded the latest one. I downloaded the msi afterburner and hit auto fan settings....the fan on my gpu went wilder than before...

Try 373.06 just to see if the fans act up - make sure to uninstall Afterburner first and DON'T save the settings. The do step 2 in that guide.

If they do go crazy still it sounds like an RMA might be in order - but someone else might chime in.

hey i'm pretty sure i'm having the same problem! I just noticed it yesterday, but it could have been going on for a while because I usually wear headphones while at my PC. also is it normal for only one fan to spin?

    here's a video i took of it:
edit: welp ok the link won't show up

when I get back from class I'll try rolling back a few driver versions.

#1 Remove GPU fan shroud and make sure the GPU fan cable is fully seated and secure to the GPU PCB fan header.

#2 Make sure the card is fully seated to the MB. Make sure the PCI-E power cables are fully seated and secure at the PSU side & GPU side.

#3 Uninstall all monitoring software. (Precision, Afterburner, Speedfan, HWMonitor, etc.)

#4 Perform a clean installation of most recent video drivers. See step #2 listed here.

If you're still having problems after performing steps 1-4 RMA the card as the fan controller on the GPU has a problem.

Sajin thanks for trying to help me out. I did all of those on Saturday Oct 23. Ddu clean and restart then installed the newest driver. Popped in BF1. I played for 12 hrs no crazy fans spinning. I felt happy and satisfied. Next day got home from work, turned on my pc and popped in BF1. 10-20 mins later. There was like a jet that was about to take off next to me. Long story Short the RMA was the best option. Just shipped it back today to the merchant whom I bought it from at Amazon. Thaanks everyone for the help
