So I went ahead to try the three display surround with my 960, or so I thought it could do that? I could be wrong but I thought all the newer released cards, or most of them could deliver 3 display surround or w.e its called with only one card? I am going to try and do some googling on it but figured id hit u guys up first.

I was only able to get to to let me choose 2 monitors when I enabled surround.

I don't even think a GTX 960 is powerful enough to do Surround. I could be wrong, though.

I am not sure honestly. I haven't really had the time to dig into it yet and find out. I have been to busy working and school. Was hoping to get some insight on here but I know I have to be patient ;).

You could do three monitors and only have the game on the middle screen. I doubt you could do 5760 x 1080 though. (Or whatever)

I know this is for a 680 but I just stumbled upon this.

    http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/how-to-correctly-configure-geforce-gtx-680-surround#1

In the article it reads it can use all display ports, hdmi, dvi X2 for surround as well as using the fourth as an accessory display.

I am still looking into more about other 900 series cards.

If he had an SLI I think you could do it. It's not that you can't right now, it's just you would get terriable FPS in any game. Assuming the game supports 5760 x 1080 in the first place which most don't. So I guess try it and if it doesn't get 30fps+ then get SLI.

GTX 960 can do surround with 3 monitors on Windows 7.  It takes some time of trial and error but eventually it will work. I tried on Windows 10 and it doesn't work properly - the resolution looks out of place. For some odd reason, the gtx960 driver for windows 10 doesn't support surround.
