So I recently built my 2nd custom pc and lately i've been getting this error "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." after playing excessively on FFXIV Heavensward. I was wondering if anyone might help me figure out as to why this is happening and maybe give me some step by step solutions to solve the issue.

Solution I tried:
I recently lowered the Core Clock Mhz, and Memory Clock MHz using MSI Afterburner.

PC Stats:
i5-4690k 3.50 Ghz,
MSI Z97-G45
GTX 960
Corsair CX600 power supply.

Now be mindful i'm fairly new to this pc building life so if I don't know what things are please feel free to explain and forgive me for being a derp. But yea assistance would be helpful!

Are your drivers up to date? If they are try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
Also how many HDD and other power drawing devices do you have. While "weak" your PSU should in theory be sufficient.

There are also several support tracks you can follow, just google nvlddmkm.

Install driver 353.38 if you don't already have it installed.
