Need help for installing GTX 950 in a dell 8700. I have installed cards before but sometimes with the new cards and cords that need to be plugged in I get a little confused. I did already upgrade my bios from a07 to a11. Thanks for any help.

It's easy. Plug the card into the PCIe slot on the board. If your power supply doesn't have a 6-pin or 6+2 PCIe power connection, then you'll need to use the included 4-pin Molex to PCIe power adaptor. The adaptor will connect to the plugs like the one shown below, then the other end goes to the card.

Dell PCs have been known not to be too lenient on the size on their Power Supplies so make sure that power supply in your Dell can support the power requirements of the video card and your remaining hardware.

the xps 8700 has a 460W PSU with 2x 6-pins connectors. I had one before building my new pc. It ran an old 750, 750ti and 960 FTW fine.
