I currently have three GTX 780 SC's in a SLI setup on a Asus Rampage Extreme IV Black edition mb, with an Intel 4930k running at 4.8mhz, a Corsair H105 liquid cooler, five 120mm fans + a 1 220mm fan, . 2gb of 2400mhz ram, 2 wd black edition hard drives, 2 Samsung 840 256gb SSD's, a Intel 320 series 600gb SSD and a LG Blueray burner.  Currently everything is fed by a Corsair ATX Platinum digital PSU.

My question is can I get away with adding a fourth 780GTX without upgrading my psu?

Welcome to the forums...what wattage is your PSU?  Since you mentioned platinum I assume it is the 1200AXi?  If so, I think you would need to upgrade to something larger.  Each 780 is rated for 250W, so 4 of them would be 1000W on their own.  With everything else you have in your system and a heavily overclocked CPU, you will most likely be very near the rated wattage or even higher.  You will need to look at 1500AXi or the new EVGA 1600 series.
