Ya I'm the same Szeged. Part of me just wants to get this now to play around with, but the other side just says wait for the classifieds.

@Jacob, will the Classifieds be limited to 1 per person? I am planning on picking up 2 and hopefully i will be able to put them on the same order.

That is good to hear, Thanks Jacob. I think then I might just wait for the classifieds then. I hope they won't be to crazy limited and I can pick up 2.

Hey all! New to the forum here!

Just wondering If I order the EVGA Acx 780 ti and im here in Canada, Will I have to pay import taxes and duties if i order 2 from evga website?

And like many people here I would really prefer to buy a 6gb version. It seems to be a little secret keep by every company.
Knowing if it will have a 6gb version would help us take a decision on to buy it or wait.

Thanks for your help!

And nice to meet you all :)

Yes, but will be available for step-up like the other 7xx series cards are in ACX?  If so, I'll gladly step up.  If not, I'd even step up to regular if the ACX cooler can be acquired like it was with the Titans.

Welcome to the forums Oliver2kx!

EVGA uses UPS.  You will get killed with fees at your door if you order directly from EVGA; UPS is terrible in this regard.  I would suggest you order from NCIX in Canada.  NCIX is an EVGA retail partner and has excellent pricing and service, as well they have price matching and will honour the lowest price you can find in Canada.

Nice to meet you too.

Will the 780ti ACX be offered as a step up like the 780 ACX was?

OK yes I know NCIX I did order a lot of parts from them in the past. They have a really great service!.

As I said I did not take my decision yet on if I change my 2 Gtx 780 for the 780 Ti. The same 3gb of ram is a big downside. Specially at 700$ each.

I tested BF4 this morning in Surround 5760*1080 my settings Ultra, 4msaa and HBHO 3044mb and It tops off this because it cant go any higher. Did not had Anti-aliasing with that amount of ram.

In terms of future proof, the 3gb is simply not enought for anything more 1080p.

This is not the first time Nvidia do this on all series, they always put the smallest amount of ram they can.

Anyway back to the main concern, will EVGA sell a 780 ti with 6gb? If yes than I buy it right now =)

I think about that until I open my eyes every morning.
I vote for Yes and probably and they still think what to do.
GTX780Ti Classified 6GB Memory...  Or why 6GB, and 4GB is OK.
That mostly need people with single graphic card.

I have to ask, any plans for a 6GB version? (or a version with more than 3GB?)

Yep.  Had been thinking 780/Titan waffling for a while, then these came up and just ordered the plain old bog standard mildly OCed version from Amazon, but REALLY would've liked to have seen 6GB.  FFS my newish(late spring) notebook's 780m(15") came with 4GB GDDR5(this bad boy gives my 670FTW a run for the money(actually beats the pants off of it in many cases, thermal throttling limits the nb a bit, 4800MQ/32GB 1600 v. 3930k/64GB 1600) @ OC v. OC), 2nd notebook came w/2GB GDDR5/765m(eh, this one's a 13" just more portable, 765m's not that bad... kinda like my old 17" MSI w/4850 mobility(which sword me off ATI/AMD for GPUs again evar given the "wonderful" crapalyst experience under both linux & windows, esp when they throw their hands up with longstanding bugs going welp thats all you get cyal8rsuckarz)...)

I saw the pictures and as someone who has had decades of experience in printed circuit manufacturing it is my opinion that that is a faked photo. A burned out daughter card would loose power and the FR-4 laminate would self extinguish waaaaay before that kind of damage would occur. It looks like someone took a mini torch to that board. I could provide a lot of additional reasons why but lets just say that IMHO it is a fake, perhaps an AMD troll?????

Anyway, I am glad I was in my office when the notify notice that the ti SC with ACX became available. I ordered two of them and soon after they were sold out.

To me all smoke and mirrors by Nvidia to keep any form of spotlight away from the 290x.  I'm struggling to find who this card with its price/vram will market to especially if already owning a 780 or Titan.  I know there's always the "because I can" people, but other than that?

well for me I paid 669 for 780 acx and step up to ti card for fully unlocked 780 and offer 27% better shading/texturing/geometry performance over my 780 for $40 is a no brainer!

Ditto. I'm in the low 200's in queue for my step-up but at least I can use this amazing 780 SC ACX in the meantime. Was a little sad to hear about the TI when I ordered a 780 from amazon for 660 a month ago, but I guess that what step-up is for.

I am wondering if the 780 TI ACX will be an option for step-up as I'd really not love to not lose the ACX cooler I originally had.

Even on max voltage, there is no change indicated in Gpu-z etc.

Hopefully the 780 ti with acx on there hits the market before the end of the holiday game bundle.  That's the only real way I can justify spending that much on this vid card.

That is my question for long-time EVGA owners. I need to build three computers around the 780ti, and I would like to get the ACX version. However, I need to build them within the next two weeks. Should I just grab the superclocked variety, or do the ACX versions usually arrive quickly after the stock models?

Thanks!

I just got my 780 ti superclocked and it exhibits coil whine at any fps.  The whine is louder than the fan at 100%.  I am working on returning it to amazon.  Very disappointed :(

Yes, compatible.
No problem with that.
Many people use GK110 on X58 boards.

Dang, ACX comes out only days after I purchased my 780 Ti SC (Will be delivered by tonight), with 5760x1080 @ 60Hz (3 x 27" displays) should I worry at all about this?

I am thinking I will be fine, but I am not as keen as all you, I thought I knew about cards until I read these forums.
