So.. I've been looking to upgrade my aging GTX 560 Ti's which are in SLI with the GTX 770.  Just curious about some opinions from other users who are using the GTX 770's and may have experience with the GTX 560 TI's.  Been doing a bit of research about with the comparison of the 2, and it seems the single GTX 770 will perform better in most cases.  I would be eventually going SLI with the GTX 770 as well, if I so choose to go with getting one.  Definitely would like to be able to use ShawdowPlay, which I cannot currently use with my 560's.  Anyways, any thoughts or opinions would be great.  I'll be pulling the trigger in the next day or 2 on a new card.

Current rig in the sig.

Upgraded myself from x2 550TI's in SLI to x2 GTX 770's....Life is good again! My performance in BF4 is awesome with the two 770's...most likely one of the gurus here will chime in about a single 780...which I would have done but did not have the budget(wanted two cards). All in all...I am one happy camper with my two 770's.

I'm running one GTX 770 SC (2Gb) version, can say it easily decimates everything so far I've thrown at it.

The only game I've run into problems is Watch Dogs, but my guess would be patchy game development, as I've read many people having GFX issues. It's still playable, but there are times (especially when driving) that you get massive amounts of micro stutter.

My plans are to get another identical card in the future to SLI (instead of selling / buying) a new card all together as I used to do. This is the only reason I bought the GTX 770 as I've seen so many positive things about the card handling SLI. As 1sthurricane said, when the GTX 780 becomes cheaper, that would be a more viable "1 card" replacement option if you don't want to go through the SLI hoohaa.

Just my 2 cents on the card, there might be many more opinions out there, but feel free to ask any questions on games I play and how the card performs.

Nice.. looks like I'll be getting a EVGA GTX 770, but which one.. hmm.  Right now, I am on a single display, 22" 1920x1080, with eventual plans for a 3x display for a NVIDIA Surround.  Been looking at getting one of the 4GB versions, but really not sure if it's needed.  Right now I am mainly playing BF4, DayZ SA/Mod, ARMA3, and a few others.   Is there a real benefit of having a 4GB 770 over a 2GB version atm?  Like I said, I will be setting up a multi-display system soon'ish down the road, along with adding a second 770 for SLU.  I am also ordering a Z97 mobo to start my Intel build (finally saying by-by to AMD..) along with the GTX 770.

I am running the EVGA 770 4GB Classifieds in SLI and there is still room for overclock.  My opinion - for a little extra $, I would go with the 4GB version. You can't get 3GB which is on some of the other high end cards, and it is clear memory is only increasing up to 6GB and higher.

Eyeballin the 770 4GB Classified.  But, I will want to add a waterblock to it and add it into my current w/c setup.   Which I can't seem to find a waterblock that fits the GTX 770 Classified anywhere.  I've heard the 680 Classified waterblock fits, but can someone confirm (or kill) this?

One regret...I wish I would have dropped the extra coin on the 4 gig cards..

The extra memory would help with multi-display, that's about it, so if you're not planning to get more than 2 monitors then don't bother, the 2Gb version would do fine.

I've got 2 monitors (27" running 1920x1080) and my 2Gb has no issues, in 3D, no issues, but, I think if I get a 3rd monitor then I would like to have that extra memory. Note that every rig will differ, so don't take my word for it, my set up works for me, but it might not work for you.

As stated in my previous post, eventually one day when I find that games catch up and my card can't handle it, I'll drop the cash on SLI and bigger PSU, but for now, I don't think I'll have to worry about it for another 6 months or so.

If you are looking for water blocks for your card/s, try perfomancepcs.com, I usually buy my gear from these guys (in bulk when I do big upgrades). Prices are good, they have a ton of stuff and delivery is reliable (I've had 3 orders so far).

I've use PPCs in the past with my watercooling parts for my current rig.  Great prices for the most part.. But, no one seems to have the 770 Classy waterblock.. anywhere.  Searched Ebay even.  :/  In any case.. I am now actually looking at the EVGA B-stock items.  There is a GTX 780 reference for $420 that has been catching my eye.  Doesn't come with anything bundled, and only a 1 year warranty, but dat price!  Thinking about pulling the trigger on that instead..

    hmm..

    Little update..

I decided to skip all that above pretty much and purchased a 780 Classy.. Waterblocks are pretty readily available for it.. so that made the decision a little easier.  :)
