Hello guys!

I've just purchase one GTX 760 and I like to know how to run this card. I have dual bios with two switches on the card, my question is, how to put this switches, both ON, or 1 ON and 2 OFF, or both OFF????

Thank you!

    Hello PinkJackal

There is no way to turn them off as the card needs to be on at least one bios to run. You only need to have the switch on the bios selection you would like to use or flash.

It will work fine with switch 1 in either position however if you want to flash to one of them you would have to move the switch 2 to the lower position.  It will work the same for switch 2 in either position and it only affects if it will allow the BIOS to be flashed.

What is running and/or not running when both switches are in the ON position and both switches are in the OFF position?

I hate to revive a dead thread, but I don't want to start a new one for the same question.  Anyway, I just bought a GTX 760 Dual FTW w/ ACX 4GB, and was wondering about the BIOS selection, this card has 2 switches as seen in the picture.  Both were in the down position when I bought it, and are currently in that same position as I type this.  According to the picture which is from the Double BIOS Technology page, you have to switch the first switch (Labeled '1') to the down position if you want to use the Primary BIOS, and to the up position if you want to use the Secondary BIOS.  So if this switch is for the BIOS, what is the other switch for (Labeled '2')?  The instructions on the technology page should be more specific, there are a lot of threads about the confusion of the 2 switches for a card that only has 2 BIOS, not 3 or 4.

After rereading this thread, it sounds like switch 2 is only used to flash either Bios 1 or 2, depending on which position switch 1 is currently in. In other words, when switch 2 is in the down position, it allows you to flash the current Bios of switch 1. When switch 2 it is in the up position, you cannot flash Bios 1 or 2 by either intension/mistake (safety lock).

    This should clear things up.

Thanks Sajin for that link. I get it now, basically the second switch functions just like the write protect slide on a 1.44 floppy. It is also great that you confirmed how to reflash a failed BIOS. Thanks again.
