I just bought this card for my nephew, His PC is a basic pre-built one we got him for homework, But I got him into PC gaming and he likes to play Payday 2, But it lags like crazy... Not sure how he still plays it like that, LOL. he has 112 hours on it.

How well is this card going to do in these games? Payday 2, Garrys mod, Call of Duty : Ghosts, etc?

The monitor is 20" 1600x900 only.

This card is capable of running any current game on high settings or better at playable framerates, so I think he'll notice a difference of night and day....... the only possible issue might be with the prebuilt systems motherboard, the manufacturer may or may not have a BIOS update available that will support the latest video cards, you should check the make and model on their website and see if there are any recent BIOS updates available..... if not, you may have to either end up going for an earlier generation card, or a new motherboard.

    Hello, RushXTC

Also another thing to consider would be if the prebuilt system is running windows 8 or 8.1. There will need to be some changes made within the bios to make the card function. Usually its in inregards to the UEFI settings if you need any further assistance you can contact us at : 1 (888) 880-3842 we are available 24/7.

I wouldn't send it back just yet, if the system is fairly recent, it may support a 750 with the BIOS version it already has, if not there may be a BIOS update available on their website. you should get the make and model of the computer, go to the website and check...... if a BIOS updat is available, in the release notes it's probably not going to specifically say "added gtx 750 compatibility", instead, you're going to be looking for a release date that is newer than when the 750 was released..... which I believe was somewhere around Febuary 2014?
