I currently have one GTX 690 (top DVI port) plugged into one monitor and one GT 720 (HDMI port and VGA port) Plugged into two monitors (3 monitors total). I'm also running Windows 10 with the latest Nvidia driver. When trying to enable SLI on the GTX 690 the Nvidia driver will disable one of the monitors on the GT 720. This was not an issue with older Nvidia drivers. See attached image. Any ideas?

Can you just put two or all three monitors on the 690? (dual GPU video card) What happens if you pull the 720, setup 690 in SLI; then reinstall the 720? What CPU, MB (newest BIOS), and what PCIe slots did you populate ? Is the 690 installed closest to CPU (first) ?

If this was not an issue on the older drivers I would recommend reinstalling those drivers. When you open up the installer select the option for "Custom Installation". On the following page you will see a check box that reads "Perform a Clean Installation", check that box. Proceed with the remainder of the installation how you normally would. You can also try running Display Driver Uninstaller, you can find it HERE, and reinstall the latest to see if this helps.

I play games on 1 monitor with SLI on the 690. The 720 is for normal desktop usage. Hardware is not the issue, I have swapped out the 720 and placed it in the 690 PCI-E port and vice versa. This is simply a driver issue.

Try out my suggestion for Display Driver Uninstaller. This will ensure a thorough cleaning of the drivers from the system and registry. After you run DDU, do the clean install option when installing the driver version that was previously working. If you are sure this is driver related then this should resolve it.

Followed directions above and I still do not see the 3rd monitor. Lessons learned from buying Nvidia GTX 295 and the GTX 690, Tons of driver issues. Will be only buying one 80's series from now on.

Unfortunately when you have two cards in a system from different series' there is the possibility of driver conflicts. This is not always the case but It is more common than not. If you are able to get this resolved please let us know the solution for others who may have this problem.

Since this is driver related I would suggest reporting the issue to nvidia so that they can fix the problem in a future driver release. You can file a report with nvidia here.
