I agree It should be more readily available info. I was in the same boat for the 2GBs I heard bout em and waited months and missed that little window was very disappointed. Really was pure luck i even got the HC classies. I too know a lot of people that would like to order these if available being there not comfortable going the route of buying 4GB model and installing  block on their own. But hey waht can we do.

Well.. I just went with two 680 4gb reference, which I was able to get for super cheap from a friend(~100 bucks ea.) and found two hydrocopper blocks on ebay.
 
Good enuff till the 700 series are out.  Hopefully those will come in hydro copper classified variety by end of 2013..

Wow.... seriously.... Not impressed.
Not impressed by the lack of communication.
Not impressed by teasing customers for months about a product that substantially never came out. (At least next time said it clearly: for north America only).

Weren't they being sold as "limited supply" from the beginning? I'm not positive about this, just thinking that maybe this is why it disappeared. They were supposed to use binned chips, so maybe that's another reason.
