Hello, hello to everyone, i dont know if i missed the section, but forgive me please.

Anyway i am having problems with BF3, some stuttering is present, mostly when i want to aim, or sudden looks to left/right.

According to MSI AB latency graph, frame latency jumps to 40, sometimes to 50ms.

Other games/apps are working normal.

It happens when gpu is on stock and when is overclocked.

My specs:

Intel i5 3570K
G Skill 8GB 2133 MHz
Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H
Gigabyte GTX 670 WF3
Intel 320 160GB SSD
SilverStone Strider 1000W Gold
Samsung P2370(1920x1080)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, also if someone can post screen for graph on msi ab frame latency curve( 2.30 version needed).

Best regards.

P.S. Sorry for grammar mistakes, english is not my main language.

    Welcome to the EVGA forums

How much Vram is on that videocard, is it 2gigs or 4gigs?

Please post what Nvidia driver version you are using.
What changes (if any) have you made in the NVCP?
What is the screen resolution of your monitor?

What BF3 in-game video settings are you using?
Have you changed the FOV setting?
Are you using Vsync of anykind?

You mentioned using Afterburner, are you using the OSD (on screen display) function?

    Thx mate.

I tried 306.97 drivers and 310.61 and 310.54 series, somehow i feel there is less stutter with 306.97 drivers, but maybe its placebo.

Actually it was way worse, but i used ccleaner to clean registry and stuttering was reduced.
I also set max prerendered frames to 1 to futher reduce stuttering when i am sprinting(if its on default i will sometimes stutter when i sprint)
Others setting in NVCP are at default.

    Playing without V-sync.
    I have GTX 670 2GB version.
Fov is at default, setting are ulta.
    Monitor resolution is 1920x1080

I tried without osd and with it, same.

Dont use the Ultra preset, use CUSTOM
-->Try the following settings (every one exactly as shown) for testing

Ok i tried your settings and stuttering is vastly reduced also i upped ambient onclusion to HBAO after couple of minutes and its still ok.

    So could MSAA be culprit?
Also i still get occasional stutter when i want to aim, but strange thing is that i only stutter when i want to aim at enemy player/vehicle, if i aim on map/air there is no stutter, could my net be a problem.

Thx one more time for help.

Player pings and framerates can certainly have that effect

So here i am, without MSAA there is less stuttering, but problem is that i need MSAA, anyway 90% of stuttering happens when i want to aim, bad news it sometimes happens when i want to aim anywhere at map, not just enemy player/vehicle.

    Anyway thx for help.
This is some strange thing, or i am just too much prone to stuttering.

EDIT: I used console command to show gpu and cpu latency, and when game stutters, cpu spike very high what could be cause of this problem?

Also just take note when you play this game in SLI with the 670s, your going to get quite a few micro stutters here and there. Your going to see it regardless in almost every game with SLI. But having an SSD helps smoothing it out. My SSD certainly helped me with that issue. Its also just flat out weird that you have such a great amount of stuttering in this game anyways. I just tried this game out by disabling SLI and using one of my 670s with the settings set to the ultra preset settings and I did not see a single stutter. I also had 173 ping in a server as well even ping does play a major role in it. I also took the time to use all the drivers you listed and still saw nothing. Maybe its your card that is causing it. Does this happen with any other game? I read some post before where some people went and turned off Vsync in the Nvidia control panel which helped out with their stuttering issue. So try that and see if that helps. Also make sure you have the preferred refresh rate to the highest available in the control panel as well.

Thx mate, but i only have one GTX 670 at moment.

Anyway with custom cfg i menaged to vastly reduce cpu spikes.

It doesnt happen with other games/apps, like i said GPU latency graph is ok, its almost always at 15-20ms, cpu is problem, he is spiking and causing stuttering.
