Got mine yesterday.

Fantastic card!

Currently folding at 1961 MHz, and I haven't tried to overclock yet.

The new ACX 3.0 cooling is much quiter than the ACX 2.0 cooling was.  I have the fans running at 70%, GPU is below 71 C while folding a core 0x21, and I can barely hear them.

Great job EVGA!!!!!!

If you turn your fans up you could get 2012Mhz folding at 60 to 61 degrees. Got mine running that way for a few days. Hits 2025 and 2050 once in a blue moon too.

Yes! I agree, got my FTW 1080 yesterday, and benched the hell out of it in my fav games to see what it was capable of. Most games it even boosted to 2000MHz without any OC and I havent switched bios, unless its the OC one anyway but it runs like I hoped, maybe a bit less in 4K some games but I cant complain comparing my old GTX 780 to this. I wont get any lagg at most games atleast :) One point though the cooler is super silent, but I dont understand why running the fans so slow and heat up all ur components inside ur case, personally I tested with 100% fan speed which you could hear but at 60% you couldnt hear it anyway. Maybe because I watercool and are affraid of temps. But at 100% fanspeed it hovered around 50C° in demanding games. Impressive on air. I managed to hit 60C° on water with my EVGA GTX 780 Hydro Copper. So when i smack a waterblock on this baby its time for some massive OCing :)

Good job EVGA as always. Another happy owner.

Just got mine in. So no OCing at all yet not even changing fan speeds or power targets. Seemed to sit around 1950 during the tests, so damn good out of the box performance.
Got 5320 on Fire Strike Ultra

I like that, why? Because the best I ever got with my 780ti sli was 4483 and they were heavily OC'd at the time. Oh and way louder than this 1080, I mean I have the side of the case off and I didn't even hear the card at all during its run. So very pleased.

Oh and what's even better? My second one should be in my hands tomorrow evening. :-)

I turned the fans up to 100% yesterday...GPU temp dropped by 2 deg...not worth it for the extra noise in my opinion.

I added an extra exhaust fan to the case, and now the card hovers at about 66 C while folding with the fans at 70%.  Not too bad!

Loving mine as well. The cooler is much quieter than previous generations. I am very impressed. Can barely hear it until I set it above 62%. The card, in games, reaches 72-75C.

I had a spare H55 and G10 bracket laying around so I decided to see if I could make it work.

After a little bit of struggling, I got it all installed and the temps don't go above 55C now. 50C for most games, but Witcher 3 makes it reach 55.

A word of advice.. Go to eBay and purchase some copper shims. I used a 1.5 mm thickness and I think the temps could be even lower with a 2.0 mm shim. The reason I had to use a shim between the GPU die and the H55 was because the midplate got in the way and I wasn't going to remove that as it's needed for the memory and VRMs.

    Overall, very impressed.

Weird, I went from around 70C° on the stock fan settings and around 50C° on full fan speed and full load on the GPU. And I still think its to hot beeing used to watercooling. But for Air I think its damn impressive cooler, both silent and cools well. Im not sure I want to put a waterblock on it anymore cause the underglow and logo is so damn good looking on the FTW. :)

These temps don't matter unless the ambient temp is included. For example, my computer room is usually 80F. When it's cooler like in the fall and winter, the room is around 65F and my cards barely go over 45C.

True. I have around 25°C-27°C inside now Around 75-80°F and I get a max of 55°C = 133°F with full fanspeed+load on the card.
So about double the temp on max fanspeed. Alot higher with stock fan settings. Im gonna test the aggresive fan setting and hope that works how I want.
I dont like high temps, but I also dont want to run with fans at 100% :)

Well I got the second one, but can't test them together. Why you ask? Cause I am missing one of my 8pin power cables. And don't have an adapter that will let me set the second one up. Back to the store tomorrow and then contact Corsair to try to get a new cable. Man this sucks.

You get two, two 6 pin to 8 pin adapters. Which would work, but because of a missing cable for my psu, I only have 2 8 pin and 2 6 pin connectors. So even with the adapter that comes with it, I'm short one 8 pin connection. Should be able to get something set up today and maybe get a replacement cable from Corsair or something.

Got my first overclock on my 1080 FTX...it happily folds at 2075 now...way under on the limit on the power, and maxes at 66 C (with my office at 28 C...lots of geek stuff in there!)

    This is a great card!

Ah ok I thought it were those with regular power connector

And I am a giant dumbass!!!  So in my sleep deprived state when setting up my cards I only looked at the 6pin extensions I had. What I didn't realize until just a few minutes ago was that at the other end of those extensions were two 6+2 connectors. So yea, totally not sure how I missed that before. Let this be a lesson to everyone, make sure you are actually awake when doing up power connections.

Anyways, will get that second card hooked up shortly.

One thing I have noticed, one card OCs quite a bit more than the other. Since I have tested both of them on their own, the one could only get +50Mhz and about +250Mhz on memory. The other one I had +100Mhz and +200Mhz without issue and no voltage adjustments.

Well I got the second one, but can't test them together. Why you ask? Cause I am missing one of my 8pin power cables. And don't have an adapter that will let me set the second one up. Back to the store tomorrow and then contact Corsair to try to get a new cable. Man this sucks.

You get adapters with the card.

+100mhz on the core and no other change sounds like you won the lottery then :) Congrats.
Personally I have played alot of GTA V yesterday and noticed the Automatic boost is amazing, if you keep ur card cool.
And I even saw the temp stages it clocks down. But on max fan speed I managed to have 2012Mhz with no changes at all. Then at I think 47°C-> it jumps down to 2000Mhz and next step is around 56°C to 1974mhz or something like that.  So stock if its cool enough thanks to Boost 3.0 without any overclock or powerlimit change at all it runs like a GOD! So looking forward to the waterblock for it. Then I can start playing with the powerlimit and voltage a bit. Personally I think the card runs way to hot even on Agressive fan profile. Like you burn urself on the backplate even, I doubt that is good for the VRam if there is any on the backside. So I changed it to super agressive instead.

Congrats! I set my fan at 70% also and the it boost to 2.0 as one person said below also. Happy gaming!

    Loving mine.

My only concern is that the LED wont turn green. Which seems odd for an Nvidia card.
