Which I personally find very ugly. I'm going ACX version this time around. It has it's own ugly issues, but less ugly than vanilla card.

The cards look great either way, but I find the ACX version definitely better looking (even though it will be in my tower, upside down, so the looks are pointless). The ACX do a better job in my case, as I have the case for them. These particular x60 series are definitely going to be nice in SLI, for sure. But if they do the same bogus stunt like they did on the 960 (putting a 128bit bus on it) then I will just go with the 1080s later on.
That nexus website said that the card "might" use a 256 bus. We'll see...

I don't care the way it looks! its gonna stay inside my case facing downwards.
no one is gonna see it!

damn that looks sweet!!!  hope the price is DECENT in Europe!

finally a upgrade to my GTX 760 sc?? 'cause  2GB for new games is not enough for 2560x1600 resolution...

i went from a 8800GT to a gtx760.. unfortunately i should have bought the 4GB version... it was available... but i was not well informed...
and games like bioshock infinite, farcry 3 and BF3 take it to the limit already.. no lack of fps but....  i need more mem..

either way i haven't tried Farcry 4... and newer titles... dunno how this 1060 gonna handle them..

have to be on the watch for benchies when this baby comes out..

According to Benchlife, GeForce GTX 1060 may arrive sooner than previous expected. The rumors were that Pascal GP106-based graphics card would arrive around August. However the latest information suggest that actual launch will take place next week, onJuly 7th. Card will go on sale a week later on July 14th, so just when custom Radeon RX 480 cards were expected to hit the stores.

    from WCCFtech

NVIDIA has decided to hold a special event to celebrate the launch of their GeForce 10 series cards.

The event will take place on 7th July (7:00 PM to 10:00 PM) at the Therapy Nightclub in Melbourne. Users who are willing to be part of the celebration can sign up on NVIDIA’s page here. Aside from partying and celebrating the GeForce Pascal launch, NVIDIA will introduce the GeForce GTX 1060. It is possible that this event would be live streamed to the public so we will have a separate post for that available close to the event date.

just read online about this GTX1060.

folks already comparing it to the Radeon rx470 and the rx480!
overall... no one is willing to buy the 900series if prices do not drop decently... for everyone is holding for the 1060's among other new cards?....
i guess it will be a matter of prices...   and performance... lets wait and see.

Nvidia GTX 1060 Cards Already In Reviewers’ Hands – SLI Disabled On The 3GB Version

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 is set to launch on July 7th, giving reviewers approximately 3-4 days to conduct their testing. Which is more than sufficient but notably significantly shorter than the lead time Nvidia gave reviewers with the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.

Bad news for AMD, 1060 will be 249.99!
    Good news for us.

    Copy and paste
    http://www.theverge.com/c...se-date-price-official

The game here will be supplies.
If the 1060 is in short supplies like the 1080 we will see $300-400 price tags.
    Game is on.

I bet its a jumper to the PCB 6-pin power input.
