Curious to see what this little guy will do. Any estimations/ideas/guesses?
Hopefully we will see real numbers very soon. Anybody getting their hands on one tomorrow?

I'm going to guess at about 150-160k PPD, maybe a little more depending on the overclock

From what I gather not much headroom in OC on these unless you were to get IE: the FTW version with the extra 6pin PS connection. Then you go from 75 watts off the slot only to 120 watts, which puts you in the 1060 range (120-150 watt depending on GPU chosen) Then again if you move up to the 1060 your talking $50-$60 more in price vs a 1050Ti

1050 TI may make sense if it can produce over 200K PPD. Given the 1060 3GB makes 300-320K and 1060 6GB makes 350-380K.

Those numbers are off, I'm running 2/ 1060 FTW+ 3gb (factory OC) and they are averaging 340-345k each right now.

Can you estimate your real daily average? See screenshots here:

EDIT: never mind, I saw your screenshots, too. I remember now.

Here are my results for 5 days of these 2 folding together exclusively (10/23-10/27):

It looks like they are going up in daily production, why I have no clue. I have changed nothing in the system since they were installed.

Wouldn't it cost less for one 1070 then two 1050's for the same ppd?

    Folding whatever I can :o)

Hey tank, it became a little confusing because we started discussing 1060 PPD (not 1050) but cost-wise and PPD/Watt-wise 1070 s are hard to beat.

1050Ti Core 18 "reported" 172k PPD/ Unsure of brand of board and drivers being used, I'll assume newest because they reported failed WU's  LINK

ANNNnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddd I hexed myself on my 1060s, PPD went down after I said it went up.............go figure!!! I will say they are on the Core 21 projects taking 7-10hrs for completion. I am unsure if it matters but I am only folding Parkinson's projects.

Well remember it was a core 18 and the fact I can almost bet that they were using the most current driver which we all know (at least Team 111065) do not fold.

Not quite true, core 18 works just fine on the latest drivers, its only core 21 that's affected.

Hi, I don't understand why this is so difficult to come by! We are on the EVGA forum! Can't someone from the Marketing dept just send a card of every model to a moderator and have it tested before we have to second guess for months at a time? Most of the reviewers when they review cards don't even bother with the Folding part and I don't understand why is it so difficult to leave the card in the system a few days to fold under a specific id and we could all see the resuls by ourselves. I am talking here reviewing sites like TechPowerUp, HardwareCanucks, and even Anandtech, they have that useless FaH bench that has no correlation with real life results in Folding.

It's already mentioned earlier in this thread, that the 1050 Ti (and also the non Ti version) can Not fold Core21 WUs due to 375.xx driver issues with folding (there are already a few threads posted about this issue).
The oldest available driver for this card is 375.63 and since ~90% of the WUs are Core21 (and there is no flag to get only Core18 WUs), you can not use this card for folding until this driver issue is fix.

I heard some users fold just fine with the 1050/Ti by modifying the 373.06 driver, modifying the .inf file to add the id for the 1050/ti. Unfortunately I forgot where I have seen that.

No posts on this for awhile, but I recently picked up a 1050 ti to get my 4m points a month for EVGA bucks.

My F&H control says i'm getting 145,000 PPD. I've got a small OC on it, but this (free) computer has an AMD 64 X2 Dual core 4200 (ancient) it only had 1 GM of ram so I added another stick so I could actually run windows 10, XOC, TeamViewer and folding at the same time.

The PSU is 80 plus certified and my voltage and power use jumps around a BUNCH. So if you had a newer system, you could probably get more than I am. I'll know in a week what my consistent PPD is.

Its on driver 382.53 and on a core 21 unit right now.

There's a better folding driver in 373.06 or 372.90 if I understand it. That being said, it's not a huge difference on a 1050Ti and I wouldn't worry about it.

145k ppd is pretty weak sauce.  If miners weren't eating all the 1060's and 1070's in production...  It's not even worth it to get 2 1050ti as they don't compare in price to a 1060, point wise, sigh.  Might as well save up for a 1080ti! haha.  Booo.

After testing a refurbished EVGA 1050ti running [link=mailto:F@H]F@H[/link] for two days, it can pull around 130K to 150K points per day with the latest NVidia GeForce driver 382.53 while crunching Core 21 projects. I have another PC with dual 750ti cards that can (on a good day) only produce 130K points. Just FYI for comparison purposes.
