I have literally been trying since August of 2015 to solve this issue. I have gone through driver versions 353.82 all the way to the latest release of 364.72. I keep getting Kernel-Power critical errors, and the system will freeze up and reboot after a short while. I will also see notifications that the graphics driver has basically failed and recovered. I read somewhere online yesterday about deleting the drivers completely, then downloading the latest driving and installing under the Run as Administrator mode. When I deleted the driver, I let the PC run for several hours, and it did so with no problem. Then I reinstalled the driver as I described. It seemed to run just fine last night for a couple hours before I shut it down. This morning, it froze on booting, then it froze again while I was looking at the Event Viewer. I have attached a text file of the Admin Events from the event viewer, not sure if this is what is needed to maybe offer me some help. I'm not sure if this card, which I bought as a replacement not long before going to Windows 10 after the last card failed, is compatible with 10 or my system. My PC is 9 years old, but is still a good machine for what I use it for. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I don't have that version downloaded, but doing so now. I have a 32 bit machine running Windows 10 - latest build and all updates applied. I've actually installed Windows 10 twice after the first attempt failed. Did a complete install from scratch. I even stopped installing programs because of this issue. Figured no sense putting them all back on if the machine is just gonna fail I'll report back later today or tomorrow and see if 362.00 did anything all the other drivers did not. Thank you

I'm guessing your psu is also 9 years old?

I'm a dork!! Yes, the PSU is the original one. The 'graphic' card I bought late 2012, early 2013.

ZacsDad2016 No, the GT 610 I bought sometime late 2012 or early 2013 after the original card failed.
So the psu is only 3-4 years old?

I just corrected myself!! I had the graphic card on the brain, and realized you were asking about the Power Supply.... PSU is original.

No problem. Since your rig is 9 years old I would highly recommend buying a newer psu to see if it helps resolve the problem. Have you tried testing the GT 610 in another computer?

No. I don't have another PC readily available to test the card in. I'll see what I can do about the PSU. Appreciate the suggestion.

No problem. You could take the card to your local computer repair shop to have it tested to make sure it's in top working order.

I've been away on business for the last ten days, but upon my return, I completely removed all the NVidia drivers for this card as suggested using the DDU program. I have been running my PC for the last two days with whatever generic driver Windows 10 uses, and I have not experienced any issues as I do when the driver is installed. No crashing, no freezing...nothing. Would this indicate that the PSU is fine? Is it possible, then, that this card is not Win 10 compatible? Just a couple of thoughts running through my head. Thank you

Basically, once the drivers are installed, it allows the card to function at it's full capacity, which in turn would require more power, so there is the possibility that the PSU is still an issue. If you know anyone with another PC that you could test the card in, this would be one of the best ways of narrowing down any issue to the card itself. If you have not already tried, install the drivers that were recommended, using the Custom Installation method, then uncheck both Geforce Experience and 3D Vision and make sure to check "Perform Clean Installation", then click next, to install the drivers.
