I finally got all 4 gpu's to read as monitors and was able to extend them to the desk top, but the problem I've been having all day is to get two of the cores to start working. They all load in the tray fine and I have been able to load them in FAHMON, but apparently there's some issue with them connecting the server. The other two cores work fine.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on. This is really disappointing. I did get my 3 CPU clients changed over, givin' her all I can cap'n! @ ILikeBeans, thanks for Folding and switching them all over! I'm not sure what the connection issue could be, but if you haven't asked about it in your other thread, I definitely would. Someone good with the most advanced GPU Folding setups should be able to tell you.

I've been doing animations and smoke simulations, kinda lousy excuse though since I can do this after the 16th. I'll bring both the GPU clients back up (~12K PPD), and perhaps the CPU client depending on how this animation goes. Tho the CPU client with A3 WU's is low PPD without a passkey.

Part of that PPD loss is that I switched my CPU client backover to my name so that I can be eligible for bonuses at the start of the next promo year. I am worried that I will not be able to make it easily with my ~7000 PPD, although I do hope to get a GTX 480 and a bigadv rig up this year.

Hey you guys folding gpu clients that are EUE'ing when you changed the folding names, did you remove YOUR passkey that is specific to YOUR folding name? That is most likely the problem. The Stanford server is trying to match the passkey to the folding name and when it cannot,(your passkey and his folidng name) it is going to come back with an error.

Tested CPU/RAM w/ LinX 10-pass and no problems (I've been running stock w/ mem @ manuf. specs, 1866; now RAM is underclocked to 1066) and ran Furmark to test GPU. GPU client by itself causes no problems. But if I run my 3 CPU clients (3x 2-core VMware) anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours later my machine gives the "busy mouse" signal, then I stop being able to select anything, and finally the screen just freezes (never blacks out, no BSODs, etc). My HDD spins normally, I can still hear music if it was playing, etc... I've lost numerous WUs because of this in the last 2 days. Any advice?

I don't think I'm just missing the BSOD as it continues to display the same frozen image indefinitely until I manually reboot. I'll try rebuilding the clients, do I need to literally remove and reconfigure them, or just delete some of the internal folders/files (maybe the .lck folders?)
