KMoore4318 slayer_27 I was having some serious problems getting my 2nd GPU running. I followed 3 guides to the letter and it keeps trying to load the 2nd F@H on the same GPU dropping usage to 70%... Found a download that all I had to do was make a shortcut and ready to go! Now looking at F@HSpy it is configured for the person who made the download....darn! Gotta change em over now. If anyone wants the link I can find it, there is one for 2 GPU and 4 GPU. The 4 GPU one please 2 GPU Folding 4 GPU Folding Just move the folder to wherever you want it, make a short cut to each and CHANGE the FOLDING NAME AND TEAM. The dude who made this just copied his folders so it has his config files.

Hey guys, I just wanted to remind you that we have the whole February 15th to fold for Afterburner. I'm assuming the folding year will reset at 24:00 PST on February 15th (or equivalently 00:00 PST on February 16th), is that right Shane? Thanks!

My clients will not work. I am bitterly frustrated, have limited time, and am trying very hard not to rant on Stanford's horrendous inability to provide good software to the people they want to help them. Keep up the good work, I'm still hoping to see 9 mil before its over I will try to help but this is seriously a headache. Never had this kind of trouble before, what on earth did they do to these clients...

Warthorn, have you already tried the win smp 6.29? It can use all you threads (or less) and uses less ram than the vm with ~ the same ppd

It looks like our GPUs for AB effort will end quietly later tonight. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributed in their posts or points, and I probably speak for everyone in saying that we were happy to do what we could for you AB! You and your family will be in our thoughts no matter what name we're Folding under. Glad to see you around the forums Barbarossa Warthorn, have you already tried the win smp 6.29? It can use all you threads (or less) and uses less ram than the vm with ~ the same ppd Haven't tried any of the official SMP clients in about 2 years, could never get them working right. Generally I suck at setting up Folding software, lol. Since VMWare is no longer working as simply as it used to I'll give it a try later this week, thanks for the idea Now to buckle down and plow through some work See you all later!

Barbarossa definetly worth looking into here´s crannys guide for vista (works the same for win 7), just make sure you follow it to the last dot. http://forums.evga.comarchive/tm.asp?m=503846 it´s dated, but still valid just use this client instead http://www.stanford.edu/g...ta-win32-SMP-mpich.exe (works on 64 bit as well, though it says 32) and you can adjust the number of cores by running -smp x (2,3,4,5...) , if you dont enter a number it will run on all cores Thx, I'll probably give it a try later
