Good thought but already have screen saver and monitor power down turned off. Don't even have hardware-level power saving turned on, no Speedstep etc. Any chance it could be the affinity settings I'm using? I set the three clients to 2/3, 4/5, and 6/7 respectively. I'm pretty sure it's crashed at times I haven't set these as well but can't completely recall. Note to all -- super busy 2/9 to 2/12, please keep an eye on the thread and stats for me if we hit 8mil please grab a screenshot so I can use it on the front banner

I was thinking it was just a crash from too much CPU but only run 6 of 8 cores, 2 are pretty much idle. It also did the same thing w/ only the single GPU Folding earlier... Again I've stress tested the machine and its at stock, no problems... Either way I just restart and open the clients again. Chippin' away. New guys have been trickling in to make up for whatever little bits I was adding to the pot, great job

Hey everybody, 600,000 since last time I posted here, nice work! heydabop Bleh, that has got to get annoying quickly. Maybe just do a whole driver re-install/upgrade? Oh man it's driving me nuts. Right now with the shaders at stock and just the GPU client its been running fine for the last 20 hours or so. I could try a driver reinstall but have never had a single problem with these... The amazing 182.50 drivers... Do the new ones let you run pseudo-multi monitors without dummy plugs, or is it still OS limited? I'd love to get my 2nd 260 going.

I had to use the registry hack mentioned somewhere in these forums, but it works.

8mil today doesn't seem possible, probably tomorrow... It's sad that we couldn't build on the initial fire and instead lost blood too fast... I was very hopeful for 10 mil... I've been contributing with my two GTX 295's and Q6600 non-stop; around 37K PPD...

I've been folding w/ 2 cpu's and 3 gpu's. 24/7 or as much as I can. This morning I woke up to find only 1 gpu folding and I got home from work yesterday to find the My pC had rebooted, but theat was the only time it did that. I had all 4 Gpu's working but one stopped and I can't get it to fold again. I'll some stuff tonight. I was wondering how many points are given for the cpu for a 500,000 unit project?

I will be dedicating it to my brother-in-law who I have known since I was eight years old. He was like a big brother to me teaching me how to ski, dirt bike ride, work hard, and much more. He died two years ago of melanoma cancer. It helps me to be able to do something even though their was nothing I could have done before.

Thanks to everybody else folding too -- we're just barely holding on to 200,000. Almost at 8,000,000, sometime in the next few hours. For my part, it's the weekend so I'll be running 24/7 w/o any shut downs. Tempted to try running CPU clients again but don't want to crash and lose WUs... Hmm... Perhaps I will snoop around and see if a neighbor has a VGA cable to spare for dual 260s.

Sorry guys. I am still out as my OC on my CPU has all of a sudden died. What was 24 hour OCCT linpack 90% stable is now BSOD mid boot. I will try to get my 2nd 260 folding but man these drivers wont let me change my clocks. I never should have changed from 191.07...sigh...and no, it is not the 196.xx and Precision 1.9 problem, clocks can be set but "apply" does nothing and they will only apply to profiles I already have saved.

I was having some serious problems getting my 2nd GPU running. I followed 3 guides to the letter and it keeps trying to load the 2nd F@H on the same GPU dropping usage to 70%... Found a download that all I had to do was make a shortcut and ready to go! Now looking at F@HSpy it is configured for the person who made the download....darn! Gotta change em over now. If anyone wants the link I can find it, there is one for 2 GPU and 4 GPU.
