If you take a look at our team member summary it shows a large number of people who are already above their daily average with two updates still left in the day. The Wu is definitely more available than it was just a few days ago, hopefully that's a sign that the QRB program is almost public.

Its not the 580, I've tested it on its own, even RMA'd it to make sure. its not the PSU either, i tried multiple. I think i may have a bad PCI-E slot, but testing that is harder with the watercooling system. I don't have the right SLI fitting to span to a different slot. I'm working on it. I just got sick of testing and gave up on it for a while. 


Oh and BTW, this is post #1000!!! man its been a while.

I just had something wierd happen...

I had a couple of 8057 work units folding on my 680's they were pretty much going to finish at the same time . One picked up a 7623 work unit The 680 picked up a 8057 work unit. I walked away came back to check on things and found that the 8057 work unit had some kind of error and was punted and picked a 8018 work unit for replacement

The 560Ti is a bit low because I'm using V7 so I have to have the 2.25
core.

I'm running 2.22 core with v7.2.9 on 2 PCs w/580s and get improved TPF/PPD; you should have no problem either.

Regarding the many posts that recommend using FAHCore_15 version 2.22 vs 2.25, I have a couple questions.

• Using the Pande FTP site where they keep copies of the various Cores/versions, the file there does not have a file extension.  I would expect that the file needs to be changed to be an "exe" file to be used, but I don't know for sure.  So, what are people doing with that file after you download it to make it useful to the Folding program?
• I see people saying that they are keeping a copy of the Core file (version 2.22) in a separate Folder and using it to make sure they are not running the 2.25 version.  In practical form, what exactly are you doing with that file?  Are you keeping it in a separate Folder so that when ver 2.25 is auto down-loaded by V7, you can copy it (ver 2.22) back over into the associated V7 Folder for use?  I keep reading about people doing this stuff, but don't have a clear (layman's) understanding of exactly what you are doing to make these changes and when you are making them.

I'm trying to follow what some of you are doing with the 2.22 Core, but just am not fully understanding it, so I'd appreciate so help.  Thanks.

What's so hard to understand? If v7 re-downloads 2.25 then you have  a backup of 2.22 to replace

Up there in BOLD is exactly what everyone is doing but for some strange reason you can't comprehend that
