According to German tech magazine computerbase, the GPU clock rates of the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW are already revealed. At least they say, they know the factory clocks of that model. 1.733 MHz default clock and 1.873 MHz boost clock according to their website. That would mean the default clock of the FTW is as high as the boost clock of the FE.

EDIT: If it already is on the products page, nevermind at all. I just can't load it right now ;)

Lol, it is on the product page. There is just a mass amount of people that are not normally on the site, and it is causing the website down page to load. EVERYONE wants the 1080 it would seem. I am glad I am not an early adopter this round.

The page said TBDMHz for both base and boost when I placed my preorder just now.

The 1080 SC is 1708MHz and 1847MHz, so that seems low for the FTW.  I do understand that the bigger part of the FTW is the 10+2 power, but has an increased draw to 215W as well.

What use is knowledge if there is no understanding?~Stobaeus

I was wrong, I thought it showed for all cards, but the FTW is the only one showing as TBD. My apologies.

That is actually right on par if they release a SSC model. The steps are usually in 13 mhz intervals which would put this two steps above the sc. This leave room for the classified to have one more step and the kingpin to have 2 more steps.

The ASUS Strix 1080 clocks are supposedly gaming mode 1898 MHz boost clock and 1936 MHz boost clock in OC mode.

EDIT:  I read that all wrong on there site.  Apologies.  Fixed now.

The Founders Edition comes with a backplate and doesn't have  ACX cooling. So that table is probably still a work in progress.

This morning there was a Stealth Preorder for the 1080 FTW and SC cards.

If you were online checking the site just after launch they added preorders to the page and I was lucky enough to add one to my cart.  It took me awhile to get the purchase page to work because of the load on the site but I finally was able to place a preorder on a FTW card.

They only had the preorders listed for about a hour maybe less.

If the clocks of the FTW are near 2000hz, i can assume the Classified/Hydro are pass that

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.
