Greetings, I bought my card about 3 months ago and I had been having issues with flickering and popping noises out the card. I contacted support and they recommended to remove and re-install the drivers using DDU. I followed all the instructions and recommendations. I use 3 monitors (4K). One of the monitors I reduced it from 60htz to 30htz. This solution seems to help, but it is not right. I even bought new monitors and replaced the first ones, with the same issue. Furthermore, when the computer wakes up, all the open program screens are resized into one monitor, very small. I have to resize all of them and I have many windows open. Graphics Card: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 970 Motherboard Name
Manufacturer: Pegatron HP name: Thimphu
Chipset Z170
Memory Memory slots: 4 DDR4 DIMMs memory: 32 GB (64-bit OS)
Memory 32 GB (4x8 GB) DDR4 PC4-17000
Power Supply 600 W
Processor Intel Core i7-6700 (Skylake) (65 W) 3.4 GHz
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
Thanks

Does this issue occur when using the card in another computer?

Hello Romuloh01 and welcome to the Forums! If you are using DisplayPort cables I highly recommend that you check that they are VESA certified. There are two ways to do this. If you know the model number you can look it up using the www.displayport.org product database. This database is a complete list of VESA certified products. The other option requires a multimeter. A properly certified cable should register 0.0v on the 20 pin. If you register any voltage on pin 20, usually between 2.0 and 3.6v, then you will need a certified cable to resolve the issue.

Greetings, I'm still having an issue with the graphics card. When the computer wakes up, all the open programs windows are resize. Some are very small and some are bigger. The desktop icons are all over the screen. I'm using two monitors at the moment. I posted the issue a few months ago. I followed all instructions, deleted, cleaned, and re-install the drivers, but still is having this issue. It, is very time consuming to resize the open program windows every time the computer wakes up. Please help! Thank you. Romulo

I use 3 monitors (4K) ???? Are you using multiple monitors or Surround ? What is the Make & model # of your Monitors? How are they connected ? Was your Windows 10 a Clean install or an upgrade ?

This is not going to be a graphics card issue. This is most likely driver or registry related. When you cleaned the drivers did you use Windows Device Manager to uninstall them or did you use a third party program? I recommend downloading a program called Display Driver Uninstaller, found HERE. This will perform a full clean of the system and registry graphics related entries. If that does not solve the issue then you will need to use a registry cleaner or reinstall Windows.

Hello Romulo. Is there a reason you are using sleep mode instead of shutting the computer off? Try shutting the computer off. You need to do this regularly anyway if you use sleep mode a lot, as your pagefile or sleep file, will get fragmented and you could lose stuff also. If everything is ok, I would suggest getting an app like Fences to manage your desktop stuff, so it will always be like what you left it as, right where you left it. http://www.stardock.com/products/fences/
