hey guys currently running a single gtx770 sc, and want to eventually grab another to sli, what would be the best power supply for doing so. I have a supernova 750w now, buti see a ton of people saying you need at least 850w to sli two 770sc's.

The 750w Supernova is tested to work fine with a pair of 770's, so you'll still be good.

I can confirm that a 750 Watt PSU will be fine for your set up.

I'm running 2x 770 SC ACX sli and am using the HX850 watt by Corsair(Seasonic), I utilize 820/850 watts of it. I wouldn't go with a 750 watt psu, unless you don't plan on overclocking cpu/gpus. Always go 50-75watts over what you utilize. Use a Psu calculator like this one-
http://www.extreme.outerv.../psucalculatorlite.jsp
What cpu are you using?
is the cpu overclocked?
How many Sata drives/SSD drives?
How many fans in your case?
How many CD-DVD-R+W drives?
