Decided to try a little something here, I went out and got a giant 7 pound block of DICE today.. And I then placed it in front of my 295's intake, with fairly good results. I want a pot so bad now. Here's me wearing my ABS gloves over my sister's gloves, just need to keep the cold off of me, prepping the case/fans/board for DICE:  And then just some pics.     Andddd... My result:  Lowest PCB temp: 23*C Lowest GPU temp: 33*C All in all, a good day.

dry ice in a cup...... i could do that see what i can get out of my 285 before its doomed to the back of my cupboard. might hit that up this weekend actually. do you need any conedsation preping for that or is it ok to just let it rip?

I didn't need any prep for condensation, but you can't let it actually touch the card or you'll have issues. Just put it in front of the fan intake. And don't let it touch anything, especially the motherboard. When I pulled that little towel out, it was frozen so much that it crunched.

What kind of volts were you using on the GPU? Those clocks seems kind low, unless you not pumping the right voltage in to it

1188mv. I still got pretty high temp wise, when running 741 and 756 it failed at 89C.

lol... True I did post it. I didn't take it though. Thanks Smoothie! It was cool when I set a couple chunks of DICE on the CPU HS and it dropped to 16C on the IHS, it formed some ice on the grill of the HS though so I took them off..
