    I'm sure Intel will probably issue them a take down notice soon. The description is wrong. Should be a Socket 2011-3

    They changed it now to reflect availability on 29 August

    So the rumored August 29th date may be true after all, guess we'll have to wait a bit and see.

    Ships on the 28th... so they're doing the Amazon thing, shipping a bit early so it arrives close to the launch date. 
     
    $394 for an intact hex-core chip... that damn upgrade itch is active again, bah.

    Trying to choose which one to get, the 5930k or the 5820k.  I bet they both OC right around the same.... PCIe lanes is an issue though.  I like to tri SLI from time to time.

    they require a new Mobo right cannot use the 2011 there description is misleading on that.

    Yes the require an x99 board.
