I read some of the comments on FaceBook.. damn, there's some harsh words in there, that's for sure.

You're right, his business has failed at this point. If he had got himself together and either apologized to his crew or hired a new crew quickly and got the place running again within a few days or even a week, then the business likely would have survived without much problem. To not refund unfulfilled orders to customers and take weeks to let anyone know what's going on, to stay closed for months, post almost nothing, then rant about the police and promise the business would be open within the week, and then once again post nothing since for nearly a month now.. yeah, FCPU is history.

Sadly I don't think the guy has a clue (yet) just how badly he has screwed himself. A lot of customers and suppliers simply won't deal with them after this - too unreliable. He may have been able to flip the business to a new owner had he acted quickly enough, but not anymore - nobody's going to touch it unless it's virtually pennies on the dollar - the goodwill value in the business is pretty much zero at this stage, so any prospective buyer would be better just starting fresh somewhere else, imho. Liquidate the inventory and say goodbye. Most likely he'll never take ownership for his actions, instead blaming everyone else. What a fool.

Hmm maybe.. Pittsford is just outside of Rochester (FrozenCPU is in Rochester, so perhaps Pittsford is where Mark Friga lives?) ...although that list of items on Craiglist is a little light I would think.. then again, if he was stoned when writing it... yeah. Would think he would be better selling the business as a whole.. then again, he pretty much destroyed the goodwill so... yeah. What a waste.

Frustrating as hell working your guts out for decades just to keep your head a bit above the waterline, then watch someone just throw away a thriving multi-million dollar business. What's he going to use as an ATM machine now? ..probably hasn't thought that far ahead.

This would be something Kickstarter would actually be useful for...1000 people contributing 20 bucks a pop to secure all the inventory....but damn the effort required to resell everything would probably be huge.

FrozenCPU screws up AGAIN!

Looks like the staff that was recently hired to take over for the old staff has also walked out as of September 25, 2015 citing reasons:

-Not being paid
-The owner (Mark Friga, Jr.) and his friends coming in and doing drugs in front of the employees.

Once again, Friga screws up. Frozen is dead... Again.

Its all on FrozenCPU's official Facebook page, written by the acting CEO David Gebo (who I can attest to WAS in charge of the business until a few days ago).

I may be misinformed but I did run across a rumor that the former FrozenCPU employees opened their own site: http://modmymods.com/
Take this with a grain of salt since I am misled quite often.

Seems pretty legit, and they are from fairport, NY not to far from where Frozen was. Id say if they, frozen and modmy mods, were more than 20 mins apart id be surprised!!

Richard’s P55 and GTX780 rig sports nearly every brand of product we carry, and some we don’t! He enjoys photography, and on the weekends he loves to rollerblade. You can contact him through E-Mail at Richard@ModMyMods.com.
Brennen T: A native of Rochester, New York, Brennen is not only ModMyMods’ customer support manager; he’s our most knowledgeable support professional. I never had any dealings with FrozenCPU so I can't say by looking at their employee roster. I requested an 'Auto-notify' from FrozenCPU for an XSPC watercooling kit but never got one and it was always out of stock. The enthusiast community needs a reliable source for specialty items. I hope ModMyMods fills the gap caused by FrozenCPU's implosion.

" My wife and i were left in charge, we hired an intire new staff. Yes everyone walked out! Not one person was paid. This past week him and two of his friends came in and were doing drugs infront of the staff. Which put a bad taste in everyones mouth! Buisness was great! He just cant control himself! If you guys are looking for a new site try  a few of the guys from fcpu the old crew started something great!"

I've done business w/ ModMyMods.com.

I've placed two orders with them via ground shipping. One waterblock and the second order some fittings, another waterblock, some coolant juice, and misc. other items and received both within 2 days of ordering. They are the real deal! Unfortunately they are still a new company so their inventory and selection is still pretty small. But at least they are reliable and not run by some coked-out jackass. I'm hoping to see a lot of cool and positive things from ModMyMods.com; just as long as they can keep up with demand, get A LOT more products in, and stay profitable (which they shouldn't have a problem with if they play their cards right). The enthusiast community is in DIRE need of a reliable one-stop-shop for these kinds of products.

I finally got an alert from FrozenCPU that they have the XSPC watercooling kit in stock. Seem legit? Ha-ha.

Hello,
We are alerting you that the following product is in stock at FrozenCPU.com as you requested. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

The XSPC Raystorm RS240 Extreme Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit comes complete with everything you will need to cool your CPU. This kit is designed to handle your CPU and can be expanded to handle more blocks as well. The kit uses the newest XSPC CPU block, the Raystorm as the core cooling component. This block has a pure copper base and is a top of the line in performance and looks. XSPC coupled this with their RS240 radiator which is a thin profile radiator giving more flexibility with compatibility. The reservoir is a combination of the XSPC dual bay reservoir along with a XSPC X20 750 pump. This pump has been revised and is much more reliable than previous revisions. It is now injection molded for seamless joints and this new revision 4 model is a black color. This kit comes compete with all fittings, clamps, fans, mounting hardware and hose.

Got a notice today saying the order I made the day before the melt down was canceled and to call them if I would like to re-order. Yah, probably because my CC reversed their charges. For some reason I'm NOT too excited about re-ordering from Alice in Wonderland CPU.

I clicked the "Notify Me" box three or four times since I got out of the hospital in 2014 and now they finally got some parts in stock? I'm still going through my bookmarks and deleting everything I was going to order from FrozenCPU and I'm still finding more useless links to FrozenCPU's website.

So you would say their shipping "Makes you very angry.  Very angry, indeed!" ?    hehe I had to  :)

I agree though, I love their stuff, but holy cow, any order I do shipping is MINIMUM 1/4 the total price.

Their shipping charges are outrageous. It's a good thing they aren't in Texas. Did I hear someone say, "Get a rope"?
