oOEvil1Oo Appears they will try to re-open, the only problem is I feel the way this situation was handled (no matter the truth) will definitely hurt the business, and will ultimately force them to shut down. When you run a small niche business like this, bad word of mouth is like cancer and will kill you off. I think if he would have filled all orders while blocking new orders, or put the website down for maintenance while this was going on he would be a lot better off. I know I will not order from again, using a CC or not, you cannot leave your customers without answers.
Quite simply, a statement at the time it was going viral would have done much to stop the speculation, regardless of what actually happened or whether orders were being filled (presumably, orders would have been halted at that time, as well). It's not as if people didn't know how to contact the owner, nor should have been oblivious to what was going on. At least one major vendor started pulling out because even they couldn't contact the owner.

I will as soon as they get back on their feet. It is kind of sad that you would not. It is not like this is the 2nd or 3rd time something has happened before. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Phones are still disconnected. I haven't gotten a reply to my email and time is almost up to file a dispute, so that's what I'm going to have to do. But, I do wish the business success, just not sure I can contribute... yet

I read it wasn't true, just a change in staffing, lot of misinformation about whats going on. I've not looked at your link but is there anything for sure from the owner on this?

They are closed for sure for the next month. Not taking orders or processing pending orders. They are "attempting" to hire all new staff.......so yes, for right now there is no FrozenCPU. They may come back but I have my doubts.

Looks very bleak for them to come back. Did not follow this after the initial claims, but this seemed like a train wreck that no one could close their eyes for, but one with much carnage. Might want to investigate how to get something like this started elsewhere. Who can't get a $5 million note backed by solid inventory when there is a very good market for these items. EDIT: If anyone has any experience with this kind of business, I think I can get the backing to move on something like this (not withstanding my sarcastic comment). This look like an opportunity. Not sure where I can get any financial statements or figures to see the viability of getting into this business. Checked some sources I know, but I could not find anything, as I think this was a sole proprietorship. Thoughts?

No it was after that just one from the other day, with Barnecules (sp) they were doing a video before PBXLAN. If I get a chance I will try to find the link to it and put in a time stamp for you.

They are probably hiring some new people after firing some people. Here's my story, on 26th of January they send me the wrong EK Res Pump unit (ordered dual ddc bay include pumps but got the single version pump version), they e-mailed me back and asked who verified and packed the package, I told them it was Josh and Richard. Later they sent me a UPS return label, I sent the wrong item back. On the 29th, they told me that the correct res + pump was sent using USPS International Express, which usually takes 4-5 days, but I didn't get the package until 16th of February, 5 days before they closed shop.

All I can say is that you don't fire your entire workforce if you need to replace people. If FrozenCPU was in control of the situation they would have immediately halted accepting orders when they laid off the staff. Instead they let the site accept new orders for about a full week. There was no news or communication with customers or venders. There were no refunds processed on waiting orders. Basically, it looks like a management problem to me not an employee problem. All it takes is a single manager/owner to submit refunds, post news, situation updates and information, and most importantly to "freeze" the site from accepting orders. Letting things snowball to the point the 3rd party payment processor itself stops accepting payments and not freezing the site or updating paid waiting customers is purely 100% the responsibility and fault of the manager/owner regardless of the employee situation.

MSim I would just avoid FrozenCPU for at least 6 months. Would you really want to deal with a company where the owner flips out and destroys things all over the warehouse. I don't blame any of FrozenCPU employee's quitting when the owner breaks computers and POS units. That is an unsafe work environment. I would report him to the police to make sure they check him out. You never know, the next time he loses it he could be armed at work.
I would quit if I just heard about an employer doing this... I would NOT want to work for, or even be associated with, someone who acts this way.

Guess they failed. The facebook post was dated 03/20/2015. They wrote; " FCPU re-opens this week if only to raise funds to take legal action against the crooked law enforcement." They are still closed nearly a month later. Epic fail. lol..
