Randolla I can appreciate the thought, but since when has any news organization been concerned with reporting the "facts"?
+1 Any News now a days is False and or Negative. TV News Today is no more then a Sitcom or Reality Show.

I'd still shop at FcPU, no matter who's fault it was, just because I was always treated well with pasted purchases, but this no statement is just BS. FcPU dose reopen, I won't be shopping their...

Damn.. looks like someone started trashing the place... maybe that is why a bunch of people were allegedly fired... or perhaps that is the result of firing them? Could be the law is involved and they can't do anything until they know what has been trashed etc.? Of course this is total speculation based purely on those photos. Doesn't look good either way. I really hope someone gets it sorted out and gets the place up and running again. FrozenCPU have such a good selection for builders. Funny, I was looking there last night while considering replacing all my case fans. Regardless, there should be a statement front and center on their website explaining what is going on... unless the owner doesn't have access to the site now, which is a possibility.. Additional info added: Additional post at MNPCTech of interest: On 2/13/15, I received this text message from Bucky "Bill, Bucky here, I appreciate your kind words from the limited reading I have done on forums as of late. Just so you are aware I am no longer employed at fcpu and will not be returning under any circumstances while in marks control At some point I will tell you the WHOLE story over a few beers"
Ok this thread.. seems to explain it. Main point: The owner has struggled a long battle with addiction, and events that unfolded earlier last week have rendered the company unoperational and shut down for good. Physical damage of the warehouse has occurred as well as the dismissal of all support and warehouse staff; the company has no plans of re-establishing themselves.
Speculating that the owner went on a bender and went nuts in the warehouse/office. Again, speculation. Doesn't look good. If the owner is an addict and spiraling out of control, yeah, I wouldn't do business with them. I've had a nephew go down that drain, and there is no helping them, as my family learned the hard way, over and over and over again.. best to just keep your distance, and if they pull themselves out of it, good for them. Knowing how it went with my nephew and an old school friend who went down the same track and never came back, I wouldn't hold my breath. Goodbye FrozenCPU. Such a waste. Sad.

Yes I remember that computer from MNPCTech and seeing it on the floor, thanks for the link. Sounds like a sad story indeed. Bucky is listed as the COO on the company contacts page. Apparently, some of those employees have their hands tied and can't respond to this mess. I hope it works out for Bucky, sounds like he invested a lot of time there.

On the main website, http://www.frozencpu.com/, if you look down near the bottom under "Latest News", it's been updated to say: Site down until further notice February 15, 2015 FrozenCPU.com will not be processing orders until future notice. According to a member who's posted at both OCN and [H], he claims that the e-commerce company that handles the purchasing side of the website removed the ability to pay, and not anyone associated with FCPU. I just ordered something from them a week or so ago, and I got it in. Maybe I should call Joe and see what the deal is. If they did shut down, I wonder if their inventory was on consignment and can be returned. If not, we need to figure out how to buy up all their inventory unless their creditors seized it.

Be better to start your own business than buy their inventory - which would no doubt include a lot of outdated stock that would be hard to move. Who said they had creditors anyway? From what I've read, they pay (paid) for their stock up front.

According to an ex-employee, FCPU still has roughly $5 million in paid inventory, let alone any other assets. I don't think there are too many members with that kind of cash sitting around.

If you used a credit card, there is a good chance, if you used a debit card you can still file a dispute. I know some people have gotten there money back from credit cards, I'm in the middle of it myself with my bank.

Its my understanding that Google will backup the purchase (up to 1K US dorras), which is similar to (but not the same as) the Pay-Pal protection. Basically when you make a purchase, Google asks if you want to share your purchase information in exchange for said protection... which I suppose is 100% better than simply selling your info anyway without telling you, heh.

This thread is incredible to read. Judging by the beer bottle I'm going to guess alcohol... It is really sad to see this happening. Especially as Jab-Tech decided to close up at the end of last year. So that's now officially Jab-Tech, DangerDen, HSF, Petras, and Cool-tech? (whatever it was from many years ago) that are gone. What places are even left? Sidewinder and what else?
