If what were hearing is true, other people should do the same thing.  Add the company to do not support list. If i was a supplier, i would be demanding payment upfront for all future orders.

From what has been said from one of the members claiming to be an ex-employee, and also a vendor, in the OCN thread, FCPU already does pay its vendors upfront for products.  Of course, that doesn't mean a few vendors aren't handled that way, but it seems all of its inventory is fully owned.

For anyone who might have a order with this company that is not fulfilled contact your credit card (not a debit card) company first to see if you need to file a claim with them. After that contact the nearest Better Business Bureau and file paperwork with them.

The BBB has been busted giving companies that don't pay ($400+) annual dues low grades while companies that do pay  A rating.

The BBB has no real power to force companies to do anything. All they can do is give a bad rating. Whens the last time anyone's bothered to check a company BBB rating before doing business with them.  I have seen gamers try and use it on publishers that ban them for no reason. All the publisher did was say you broke ToS and BBB didn't care one bit.

Valve Corporation has F BBB Rating.

Why the Better Business Bureau Should Give Itself a Bad Grade

Yeah, what RJ said, be calling ya'lls banks or credit card, and get your hard earned cash back.
No official statement but still taking orders from their site, "Thats just not cool!" Where yalls orders didn't ship, y'all shouldn't have probs with getting your cash back from your bank/cc.

I had rj close the thread that I created so that there was only one thread on this subject. Here's the link to my thread if anyone wants to see what comments were made there http://forums.evga.com/Unconfirmed-by-FrozenCPU-FrozenCPU-closing-m2294166.aspx#2295262

I still can't believe that there has been no official statement on this. Hopefully things get straightened out soon. I know it's a crappy situation all the way around. I saw some pics of the Frozen CPU Tech Station that Bill Owen from MNPCTECH made for them laying on the floor on it's side. Bill spent almost a year on that project with all the one off pieces on that build for them.

Odd.  I swore I'd merged all three threads, but I guess I only merged two.  My bad.  Sorry about that.

You moved the thread from the Computer News section into the Oc'ing/Cooling section but that was it. No big deal, I just figured it would be easier to have the one thread. And RJ was the only mod online when I was on this morning.

Yeah, I moved all three here, and then I used our mod function to merge all three threads together, but it seems like yours got left out for some reason.  I'll have to investigate that further on other threads some other time.

After hearing from Mark earlier this week, we had high hopes that FrozenCPU would recover from whatever hardship occurred. However, we have not received any further indication that this is happening anytime in the near future. This is definitely a hard hit to the community and the industry. We have so much compassion for all affected. Although we have the utmost respect for FrozenCPU, we also are concerned for our customers and resellers that have been derailed by this situation and are desperately looking for our products.

In response to this, we have decided to re-open our online shop for end users, and will again start accepting new reseller applications shortly. We will be working day and night to get the website functional as soon as possible. Your patience during this time is much appreciated.

The loss of Frozen CPU is the end of the Era and we will all miss the great contributions that they made to the computer modification industry.

Wow, been checking my bank for charges on the order I made on the 9th. So, a charge was made for the order on the 11th, not cool. That can't be automated can it? Wouldn't someone have to make that charge two days later? Now I have to file a dispute, although I emailed them, namely Mark, just to see if I get a response.

I'm not certain if I'd call it "the end" just yet.  That's really more the OP's opinion about that announcement.  The thread you linked is the thread that everyone's linked to since the beginning (including this thread).  I'm also not quite sure about Primochill's quote about hearing from the owner earlier in the week.  They quoted him exactly or almost exactly the same way Kyle at [H] posted an email he received from the owner, with the exact same typo.  I'd always assumed they just repeated what the owner told Kyle, or possibly the owner just sent the same statement to both of them.

Either way, what does appear to be relevant is that the lack of communication at this point is driving Primochill to open its web store again.  No other vendor has publicly commented on the situation after the first day this broke.  While that's understandable that vendors will not comment on a situation publicly, it's pretty rough for customers.

No, not a better source, unfortunately.  It's simply repeating the email that Kyle posted at [H].  The OCN thread is really the best source for reading through all of the developments.  Here's a relatively quick summary of what's going on:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1540656/sourced-frozencpu-shuts-its-doors/1080#post_23543138

Normally, I'm all about finding the best source for everything, but sites are holding off on reporting because they can't verify the information and nobody can reach the owner for a statement.  If anything, the fact that Primochill is having to reopen its online store and take on new retailers is pretty telling that it's made up its mind about the situation.

Well, without speculating anything or judging anyone it's obvious there is a world of pain going on at FCPU. After this much time, all be it skeleton crew or ghost crew, there is no excuse for not at least contacting those who have been charged with pending orders at the absolute minimum. This isn't just bad business, it's being a bad human being. Why should people have to resort to calling their bank out of the fear of fruad? I give this business no chance of success after this kind of behavior to it's loyal customers after this much time and no contact. IMO the ship has sank... and it's a sad thing to watch happen.

I definitely agree Beans! A simple e-mail to customers, then said skeleton crew should ship pending orders first. That would be after the clean up of course. If it's to be a viable business again, someone [owner] should be playing damage control. Just my opinion, part of the delay may be embarrassment and coming to grips. I hope it has a happy ending.

Did you use a credit card? If so then at least you are covered if something goes wrong. That of course is valid only if the money has already been paid to them.

I sent this e-mail (see below) to NEWS10NBC NEWS TEAM   http://www.whec.com
News 10 is in Rochester, NY  Maybe we will get some FACTS.

What is going on at FrozenCPU?
http://www.frozencpu.com/contactus.html

Chatter on website Forms suggest they suddenly closed or had a large sudden firing of employees.

Please offer some news to answer customers concerns about product that was paid for not being shipped.  A lot of complaints that the phone is not being answered.

Thank you; would be nice to read some facts and not rumors.

The world of PC enthusiasts deserve to know the truth.

I would feel much better if I did receive and email about my order I placed on the 6th.
I even got a UPS Tracking Number but the Number is not Valid on UPS's Web Site.

Did you use a credit card? If so then at least you are covered if something goes wrong. That of course is valid only if the money has already been paid to them.

PayPal
Due to bad weather out east I will give it until Monday COB.

Great example of why I use my CC even on PayPal.
Hope News 10 does a story to shine a light on what has/ is happening over at FrozenCPU.

Just wondering, are they a "Google verified" business or whatever it is where Google will back up your purchase? I know sites like Newegg have this.

A Google verified business simply means that when you use something like Google maps for example their location can be found. They are in Google maps so they have verified their business with Google.

It's become more apparent as people spot my build on their floor, that I post some type of response to the "Incident at FrozenCPU" on my website, *Removed link. No self advertising. Feel free to link to actual feedback link, not your build/main page please.*

Cool GTX

I can appreciate the thought, but since when has any news organization been concerned with reporting the "facts"?
