Both were in my Steam library already, so as of yesterday at 3PM, the re-mastered versions were there for download.

Playing Bioshock 1 again and honestly I don't see any difference in graphics quality. The game is running a lot better though. Using vsync my cards are only running at 810mghz and holding steady 60 fps at 2560x1600 LOL. When this game came out I can remember my cards being maxed out.

Im a bit disappointed about the lack of widescreen support. Or judging from what I saw at initial start up, lack of proper widescreen support. Hopefully the author of Flawless Widescreen will address the issue.

One would guess most of the updates are under the hood. Might be more apparent if you're multi-display or 21:9.

I played 1 till it crashed. Looks better on @ 1440P. Other than that no major changes I could see. Going to try playing again tonight. I think I was about 30-40 minutes in before the crash.

I saw a post on reddit where a guy did a Lets Play on Bioshock 1 Original and labeled the video as remastered. He got so many comments saying the game was beautiful and that the remaster was amazing.

I just checked last night. I think we're going to be waiting a while for that. And just checked Flawless Widescreen. He has a fix for Bioshock and Bioshock 2 up, but nothing for the remastered versions.

I did find a 21:9 fix, but you would have to go in and fiddle with the .ini file. Not sure if your comfortable with that. Doesn't bother me too much, but there still isn't anything for UWS/Multimonitor resolutions, other than simply loading some graphics mods and playing the non HD version.
