I wish somebody from evga could come in here and tell me if I even need to flash my bios.If the downloads had the bios version on them instead of just the card number would be more helpful.I know that when I start the flash utility,it scans my card and asks to press Y ,but does it do that when you already have the bios or only when its a different version?Im not pressing Y till I know.

Hog54 I wonder What would happen if I flashed the bios with the same bios? Nothing really, it will just overwrite it. It appears that you already have the latest version, however, this week we will post new releases that have memory compatibility additions, no bug fixes.

Quick question: I updated my 1373 with this FPB and rily nothing changed. Is it suppose to increase clock speeds? Or just unlock the fan to 100%?

.76 would be newer then .74 .In either case flash your bios to match then, but flashing Bios is not covered under warranty if something goes wrong and you cant flash the card/s back to the original bios they shipped with you are not covered under any EVGA warranty .

EVGA does not give them out,if someone else has them they could give them to you.Personally i see no benefit setting one card to a older bios.and the .74-.76 most likely will not make a difference you will ever notice other then numbers matching .

Hi eveyone! I have the GTX 460 1gb EE model 01G-P3-1365. These FPB updates don't mention this model. My card is clocked (factory settings) like this I uploaded a GPU-Z screenshot so you can have all the specifications of the video card. http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/10/10/25/3a2.png I can't set the fan speed to 30% (minimum is 40%) on EVGA Precision, but I am able to make it to 100%. My BIOS is 70.04.13.00.64 . Seems it's old, comparing to the 70.04.13.00.76 version you're talking about. I have one more question. While the fans at 40% sound just fine, I don't know why in games, from time to time, it keeps adjusting the fan speed itself -gets noisier when getting more speed percentage but that's pretty logical-. It's not like it's during a part of the game where it stresses the card much more, so I don't know. Is this normal????? Well, that's all. Thanks soooo much in advance to all of you!!!!!!!!

So BIOS 70.04.13.00.76 is the most recent then? Just got my 1GB EE 460 today so I guess I will get 30-100% fan speeds and 720MHz on the core so no need to update the BIOS, correct? Thanks
